    Disappointing Quality

    I bought the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 but returned it because I didn’t like the build quality. The laptop felt very plasticky and flimsy, especially the lid and keyboard area. It didn’t feel sturdy enough for everyday use. Performance was okay for basic tasks. Overall, it just didn’t feel like something I’d want to keep long term.

    No issues with it running so far. I will say that the screen quality is not the best. Everything has a slight blur to it, which is very unfortunate for the price I paid.

      Regarding battery life, by default, the system will tend to give more speed when needed, which can sacrifice battery life. If you want to squeeze out more battery life, we recommend utilizing the Lenovo Vantage application that is preinstalled to adjust settings related to power and battery performance (to access relevant settings, open Vantage > Device Settings > Power). You can also take advantage of the keyboard shortcut, Fn + Q to toggle thermal modes and easily switch between prioritizing battery life or power, or even the best of both worlds.

    Very pleased with the laptop. Very displeased with the pressure and misleading promises to save money by signing up for a Bestbuy credit card. No money back, just points on next purchase. Not what I was lead to believe.

    Display hinge broken within six months

    I use this laptop five times a month for DJ work that I do so it gets very light usage. After six months, the bezel around the display has delaminated and the right hinge has cracked. I can't even get the laptop open now. Lenovo refuses to resolve the problem under warranty. I've never dropped it or abused it. I'll never buy another Lenovo again.

    This computer is pure garbage in my opinion. Ive owned lenovo before and theyve been okay. Here the cursor disappears for minutes at a time and it drops websites at will.its also big and clunky. I do not recommend at all.

    Purchased on 9/4 today is 9/26 and the screen keeps going out. Took it to bestbuy for an exchange they told me I'm out of the 14 day window and have to go through lenova now. Very upset as this was a gift for Mom and she's already having problems after owning for roughly 3 weeks. Extremely disappointed in how best buy handles this

      To start, we recommend adjusting your device’s sleep settings which may be causing your system to shut off the screen faster than needed. Firstly, open the Settings app, then select the “Systems” tab located on the left hand of the device, click the “Power & battery” option on the right-hand side of the display, finally choose the “Screen, sleep & hibernate timeouts” tab, this will open a drop-down menu where you can change how quickly your device goes into sleep mode. We also suggest that you check for software and drivers updates through Lenovo Vantage and Windows Update Settings which may be impacting your device’s ability to communicate with the display effectively.
