Dead after 7 mos, repair center unreachable

Took it to Best Buy only to be told by Best Buy that we had to contact Lenovo ourselves and ship it to Kentucky to be repaired, which will cost 89.00 shipping. Best Buy did not offer us any way to contact Lenovo, no phone numbers, nothing helpful, and finding information to contact Lenovo and getting through on any phone number we found ourselves, is next to impossible. However, if you enjoy having a non-working computer, sitting on the phone listening to elevator music for hours, this is the computer for you.

To help ensure your system is running as efficiently as possible, we recommend ensuring you have the latest software by checking for updates, as this could correct the issue. To do so, first, open the Settings app > Select the Windows update tab > Select the Check for updates button, apply all available updates. Next, open the Lenovo Vantage app > on the homepage, select the Check for updates button, following on-screen prompts to apply all available updates here as well.
Also, by pressing Fn + Q you can utilize a Lenovo feature called Smart Power to toggle between system thermal profiles, one of which being Max Performance mode. In times where you are plugged in and need the best speed possible, this can help ensure your productivity isn't hindered.

I hope this laptop lasts

Restart almost takes a minute and that's not acceptable for a new laptop. The keyboard also looks very cheap and you can see the inside under the key. I don't think this keyboard will last long, which is going to be my top concern. Debating on returning this but black friday deals are gone. When you press the keys it feels stuck or makes werid noise orloud noises. This laptop is also dimmer than the others.
