If you use a laptop mainly for web-based tasks, note-taking, emailing, streaming and light productivity, and you want something affordable, portable, and easy to live with, it’s a smart choice. But you’ll need to accept its compromises (RAM/storage/performance) and treat it as a “basic everyday machine” not a beast.

It is very similar to the device used in school, so her knowledge of use was not new. I like I can set parameters and protections for my child as well. This is a nice option for those seeking a laptop for their child.

Best purchase ever for our 16yo son

Bought this for my tech savvy 6yo as his last one (my old one) reached its expiration for updates etc. this one is lightweight, so much faster and the screen and sound are wonderful. USB-C charger is an upgrade, and it does a great job multitasking even online python coding apps - super stuff, so far. Recommend
