I had two former laptops like this so it only made sense to get a third. It is going strong no issues no virus and I really like the touchscreen option.

Purchased this Chromebook as a laptop replacement. Since it is only used for streaming and internet, it was perfect. I did notice that Chromebooks last as long as cellphones these days as my last one only lasted approximately 3 years. To soften the cost, I found this specific Chromebook as an Open Box item. Make sure to check these items as the discount may be worth it! This was discounted about $100 and was described to have "minor scratches." I could not find these scratches but most of all, the device works well. Setup was also extremely easy.

My son’s school all but requires a computer and in a last minute frenzy I landed on this (long story, but it was a charter school lottery and he moved up the waitlist the LAST WEEK before school started). It’s perfect for his needs to connect to Google Classroom and school email, take notes, conduct research, watch videos, create presentations and reports. I was able to setup parental controls including screen limits, safe searching, permissions for app store downloads and more. The battery life on it is great, too. If he was going into 9th grade I would have made a different choice and purchased something with more power and more versatility, but this fits the bill!

Excellent battery life. Cannot download and install Microsoft office- although office is available as a web-based product.

I first purchased this device for my granddaughter &she loves it she says it gets the job done of everything she needs to do.Well my grandson ask to use it one one day & he kept going on& on of how he loved it and wanted one .So here I am purchasing another one
