This has been perfect for a young student. We’ve had it now for about seven months and I’ve had no problems. We do take care of our tech.

EXACTLY what I wanted, at a nice ($150 off) sale price. Good clear screen, nice keyboard, touch pad is good but I got a BT mouse anyway. I am mainly a Windows user, but Chrome is not hard to figure out. Light and compact, way better than dragging a laptop around. I put all my music and photos on a 256GB microSD with room to spare. Pairs with my Bluetooth spkr for volume when needed.

great little computer for the price! A Chromebook is the way to go for basic school/email/browsing needs.

Can't overrate this super notebook. Set up and sync with pixel phone was seamless and quick. Able to move flawlessly from work on pixel to pure a fan of all . I've tried other laptops and tablets and this is the very best of the lot! I highly recommend r compact but uber efficient notebook.

Overall a good buy. I do wish it had more ports (USB, HDMI & C ports) but you can use other methods to connect those like I did. It was easy to set up and get started too.

I needed to replace my current Chromebook as it was past it's AUE date. Given my use for a Chromebook, I was looking for an inexpensive but reliable unit, and so far I've been quite pleased with this Lenovo Slim 3. Amazing battery life, 1080p touchscreen, decent keypad and touch pad - it fit my needs perfectly. It does come with a new but entry level processor, but as long as you don't keep a large number of windows and tabs open (it'll lag a bit), you'll be good to go - especially if you pick one up at it's frequent sale price.

I absolutely love this computer! I needed something quick and efficient and this one is just that! It is super light and durable. Also, I didn’t realize it was touch screen, which is definitely a bonus! This would be a great computer for someone in school or just needs a computer for the basics.

I think this is very good for a student or elderly. solid build, good display, reliable.

After retiring, I needed to buy a laptop. Since I primarily use Google Suite of applications and didn't want to pay for AV and other software costs, I looked at purchasing my first Chromebook. I looked at Acer, Lenovo, and a few other brands, and ended up selecting the IdeaPad Slim 3. After using for about a month, I'm very happy with my selection. The laptop meets my needs for browsing, email, and tight alignment with Google Products/Applications (connects with my Android Phone, view My Drive, etc.). The screen is nice and sound quality is adequate. My only negative is the some changes in the keyboard. There is no delete button and some of the short cuts are different from Windows. I will definitely recommend this laptop and would have given a five star review if it had a delete button!

This laptop works well for small projects. It stays charged for a long period of time.

My kid loves it. Paired with Google family, we're able to set screen limits and various parental controls. Works great.
