Just needed something for things that can't do on the phone so figured I would give the Chromebook a try. It is pretty quick but its not a regular computer so it wont do everything as one but it works for me.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I brought the Lenovo Slim 3 Chromebook 14” FHD touch screen laptop , for my mom for Christmas and we both recommend getting this!! The battery life was only halfway low when it got put on charge and the Chromebook charged it really fast. I synced her phone to it and she is able to receive texts and respond back to them through it , it’s really neat! To whoever is interested in getting the same one , I would say go for it , you can also sync your email to it etc.

You Get What You Pay For

Once you open more than a few tabs, it is VERY slow and frustrating due to only 4GB of RAM. Very nice feel, keyboard, screen and speakers. Great battery life. Does not fold into "tent" mode or tablet configuration, so may not be ideal for kids. It does open flat to 180 degrees.

So far this one seems even faster than the older version and I like the blue color. Solid Chromebook for your basic everyday needs.
