Touchpad is less than expected (as with every one I've used) for selecting and scrolling in the "alt"or right click menu. I have always missed scroll wheels next to the pads.

She has one like it at school and needed to be more familiar with it. It seems to work good now that we have it connected to the internet. It was a bit of a challenge to get it connected to our Wi-Fi.

Okay for basic functions

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It serves its purpose as a computer for basic functions as surfing the web, checking emails, etc. It does have a lag, when moving, navigating around with the touchpad, BUT I find that the touch screen is a great feature! If you have to use the laptop for business, school, extensive use, this would NOT serve its purpose. You get what you pay for. The ASUS brand was a little faster maybe because of the Intel Celeron, not too sure, but I can’t complain for the price I bought it for.

I did purchase another one that has been refurbished so at least I know when it arrives it will work and then this one will be eventually refurbished! Disappointed.
