Lightweight. Display is excellent. I primarily do office work and run heavy on the Chrome tabs. I have never attempted to run a video game on this machine. I have better machines but I always fire up this Lenovo to get work done. It is hard not to like it after a few days of use.

I will say though, when I first went to set it up, it was very slow and loud, but now it's working smoothly. Also, the battery goes down quicker than I expected, even when you're not using it. That hasn't caused an issue yet, just giving a heads up. Overall, it's nice but not extra fancy.

I do not like that I have to put in a code every time I want to get into this computer. I wish that it was simpler. It also seems that the spell check is not very good because I misspelled two words while typing this and it offered no suggestions. It showed that it was wrong, but I had to figure it out for myself.

Just make sure u get McAfee setup for protection besides having windows protection - and you get coverage insurance for the laptop itself. If too many things are being done at once it can freeze. But it barely happens.

First, we recommend installing all available driver updates through Lenovo Vantage and Windows Update Settings. These updates are crucial to the device’s health and can affect battery performance. To check for updates in Lenovo Vantage, launch the application, then select the “Check for updates” button at the top right of the screen. To check for Windows Updates, launch the Settings app, select the Windows Update tab on the left-hand side of the page, then select the “Check for updates’ button in the top right of the page. Once the updates are installed, we recommend restarting the device.
Secondly, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3i lets you adjust the computer’s thermal mode. This lets your device cycle between higher-performance and quiet modes or automatically adjust based on your needs. To start, launch the Lenovo Vantage app, select the "Device Settings" tab on the left-hand side of the display, scroll down to "Power modes," and select the best mode for your needs. We suggest using Quiet mode, which will lower the temperature of your Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3i, reduce fan noise under load, and improve battery life. During gaming, we suggest changing the thermal mode to performance to get the most out of your Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3i. You can also toggle thermal modes with the Fn+Q hotkey.
