Great for the price! I got it on sale, and it does everything I need it to do for a secondary office laptop. It is running the latest windows and did not take long to set up. The laptop is light, boot time is minimal, and not a lot of bloatware which is common with other similar laptops. Now for the downsides. The touch pad is a little wonky, it sometimes makes the mouse move all over the screen. I mostly control this laptop remotely so I am able to avoid it The laptop hard drive write/read speeds are a little slow. So moving files or opening files felt a little sluggish for 2025. Outside of the those 2 aspects, this laptop fulfills its purpose.

Computer is compact and powerful enough to do what I need with a very long battery life

This was a great buy, the price was great and the laptop was perfect for a first time user. I bought it for my boyfriend, who is not very computer savvy. He really likes this laptop because he is able to search around easily and learn how to find things on it. He has learned how to navigate through his computer to find apps, settings & how to sign into the internet. He gets notifications and pop ups offering him help as he is searching. We are very happy with the Lenovo IdeaPad laptop.

I’ve had this laptop for about a month now, and I’m thoroughly impressed. It’s incredibly fast and durable, making it perfect for various tasks, from schoolwork to ministry projects. The only minor issue I’ve encountered is that it tends to get hot quickly, which is quite common for laptops, especially when used on your lap. To mitigate this, I suggest investing in a laptop cooler. Overall, setting up the laptop was a breeze. It’s highly customizable, allowing you to tailor it to your specific needs. I didn’t face any difficulties during the setup process or while using it. I’m still getting used to the right and left-click mouse track, but everything else works flawlessly. I highly recommend this laptop to college students, administrative professionals, or anyone who uses it for everyday tasks. It’s an amazing device that I would give a perfect score of 10 out of 10.

Very solid basic laptops. Premium look and feel, good battery life, solid keyboards, good screen. I've bought a bunch of these for my organization for the staff that uses mainly web-based applications and do not need heavy duty processing power. These fit that need nicely. The price to function ratio is very good at $3XX, and extremely good if it's on sale at under that amount.

I am not the typical purchaser. As a software engineer this product was purchased with the intent of removing Windows and installing Fedora Linux. Lenova is traditionally the best hardware vendor for Linux support. Additionally Lenova laptops are usually able to be easily updated. The issues I had with this laptop were: Memory not up gradable I am not a typical consumer. As a software engineer, this system was purchased specifically to replace the preinstalled Windows OS with Fedora Linux. Lenovo has historically provided strong Linux hardware compatibility, and their platforms are generally known for being serviceable and upgrade-friendly. The primary limitations encountered were hardware design choices rather than performance issues: * System memory is soldered and not user-upgradable * The NVMe SSD is not user-replaceable * The integrated microphone was not detected by Fedora (kernel/firmware support issue) Aside from these constraints, all other components were functional under Fedora, and overall system performance has been excellent. The platform is stable and performs well for development workloads. However, the lack of upgradeability and incomplete Linux audio support prevent this system from being an ideal choice. Addressing these limitations would make it a truly exceptional Linux-capable laptop.

I bought this laptop not expecting much but it has delivered what I need for college. The only downside would be the screen but other than that it is a budget friendly laptop

Got this for my dad and he is a lightweight user. Mainly used for watching youtube, reading the news, checking emails, and playing games like solitaire. Sleek design, good amount of ports, and functional. 4 stars because there is no ethernet port on the laptop, but that's pretty standard nowadays.
