My specific unit has coil whine occasionally but that's normal with some laptops and could just be my specific unit. Would definitely recommend.

Great laptop for the first few months!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great laptop for gaming, but keyboard is not built very well and specific keys stopped working after 3-4 months and unable to fix with any tips available in troubleshooting guide (it is a fairly common problem with this laptop it seems). It is a lot more frustrating having a key not work and they are unable to fix it, so be prepare to buy an extra keyboard a few months after you buy. Otherwise runs great, easy to add memory and a backup SSD.
