TLDR: Buy on sale, keep in mind the proprietary hardware and lack of upgradability or repairability.
The lenovo legion T5 is great for people who dont care about upgrading their PC and would rather just buy a new one when their old one breaks, (and if its at around 1500$), or when they need something better.
The reason I say this is because this PC uses:
-Proprietary rounded IO Shield (Cant use a motherboard with an integrated IO shield)
-Proprietary 7-Pin Fan connectors (Cant reuse these fans outside of this system)
-Lacks a GPU support latch on the motherboard (Support bracket mandatory even if your GPU doesn't sag)
-Has a Locked down Bios with no RAM tuning support (Micron DDR5-5200 CL42 Max, Not Ideal for RAM intensive tasks or Esports Gaming)
I should also mentioned that my unit had a Kioxia drive that seemingly failed within a week as the PC now doesn't boot to Windows properly, and just gets stuck on a black screen, even in safe mode, I've tried different mice and keyboards and nothing works, this might be an isolated issue with my unit but still, not a good first impression.

Powerful. Quiet. Cool. This thing is a beast. Games in high resolution, frame rates always high. The Cold Front cooling keeps CPU and GPU at good temps. The WiFi is better than my internet cable. Great perks from Lenovo on system updates and performance monitoring

Works amazing, I get 500 fps on Roblox and even more on Minecraft, and on intense games like grounded 2 I get up to 240, highest temperature I’ve seen it get to was 76 hasn’t gotten any higher but only problem I find is if I want to upgrade to a 5080 I’d have to get a different motherboard I think, other than that, amazing pc.

Best Bang For Buck PC

This PC is hands down the best bang for your buck right now. The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is an absolute monster for gaming and multitasking, and pairing it with an RTX 5070 makes this system feel effortlessly powerful in everything I throw at it. Games run incredibly smooth at high and ultra settings, load times are lightning fast thanks to the 1TB SSD, and the 32GB of RAM means there is zero hesitation even with heavy workloads or lots of background apps.
Thermals and noise are also surprisingly well managed for a prebuilt. It stays cool under load and never sounds like it’s about to take off. The build quality is solid, the Eclipse Black design looks clean and modern, and Lenovo clearly put thought into airflow and component balance.
What really stands out is the value. You would struggle to build a comparable system yourself for this price without cutting corners, especially considering the stability and warranty support you get with a Lenovo Legion. Whether you are gaming, streaming, editing, or just want a future-proof machine that will last for years, this desktop delivers far beyond expectations.

This gaming computer exceeded my expectations in every way. Setup was quick and straightforward, and it booted up fast right out of the box. Performance has been outstanding — games run smoothly on high/ultra settings with no noticeable lag, stuttering, or overheating.
The build quality is excellent. The case feels sturdy, airflow is well-designed, and the system stays surprisingly quiet even under heavy load. Cooling has clearly been thought through, which gives me confidence for long gaming sessions.

The professional reviews I read are very accurate about this machine. It's whisper quiet, even under heavy gaming loads that make my old desktop and current zephyrus laptop fans scream. No heat output. Case is a monster, well built lots of metal and glass, but enormous. Was still smaller than the other rig I was looking at from a custom US maker, and even though this was my second choice so far I think it was the right one

Power at a price

Purchased in late October 2025 for a great price. Only used to run iRacing with triple monitors for approximately an hour to two per night. Plugged into a 1500VA UPS Battery Backup since day one. On December 20th, the power supply died for no apparent reason. I had troubleshot every possible problem and learned that the Legion PC's have been having intermittent power problems of late. Perhaps a bad batch of power supplies from the original parts manufacturer. I know of at least two other Legion PC's purchased at the same time with similar permanent or intermittent power supply issues, one this same model, one the next model up straight from Lenovo.
Mine has been sent in for service due to the upgraded warranty that I purchased against my better judgement at the time, however this time it seems to have been the smart choice.
I will say that while this PC was working, it worked very nicely. However, the motherboard bios does not allow any true access to customize the clock speeds. It is another lesson learned. My next PC will certainly be a custom build. This was just too good of a deal to pass up at the time.

Bought for gaming on a 4k TV , works well can run most of games in 4k or 1440p also using DLSS upscale to 4k looks very convicing… have had 0 issues so far… just wish it came with more than 1tb of storage… planning to upgrade that in the future. Also very quiet and temperatures look very good from my tests. So happy with the purchase.

Good rig for a solid price point

This rig is solid for the price. It has a great gpu in it and the cpu is as well. It plays bf6 at ultra settings with zero issues and over 140fps. Really the only negative is the ram, and motherboard. They are give for what it is but if you ever wanted to over lock or upgrade parts, the motherboard is proprietary which is odd for a pc, it’s typically used in laptops but I guess they made a version recently for desktops. It doesn’t have all the heat resistors and such you would need to really push the components on this rig. The ram modules don’t even have heat sinks. So you can’t push them either.
That said, the rig performs as expected do I didn’t dock any stars for the lesser than components. I hit this rig instead of building it because it’s my third rig, I have two much higher end rigs, that I built. This one just needs to work and work it does.

I am floored with how good this system is! I unboxed it and connected it to my Samsung Odyssey G5 34" monitor using a separately purchased Display Port cable. I went through the easy setup process (which took about an hour of downloading updates, etc). Then I installed the games. As a person who hasn't had a dedicated gaming PC in over 20 years, I was extremely pleased with how well this PC performs. It handles Cyberpunk 2077 at full graphics settings with no problems, getting 100+ fps consistently, never dropping below 90. DayZ gets 190+ fps, and World of Warships gets over 300+ fps (with a peak at over 400!)
Luckily I got this on a Black Friday sale and saved nearly $500, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Ok, have had this computer about two weeks. Runs remarkably cool for only a non liquid cooled rig. I had one problem. The lights did not work. I contacted Lenovo and found out that it needed an app called legion space that was not installed. Now, all good. I bought a three year warranty from Lenovo at half the cost of best buy geek squad. The included keyboard and mouse is not a gaming capable. Basic only.

Much better rig than the Acer it replaces. Super quiet as a bonus. This was recommended by the knowledgeable folks at geek squad, after the 2nd new Acer Nitro 60 gaming desktop died by power supply failure.
