Customers admire the Legion Tower 5i's impressive performance and high-quality graphics, frequently citing its ability to run games smoothly at high frame rates. Many also praise the system's quiet operation and relatively good value for its price, though some users suggest upgrading the power supply for optimal performance and future-proofing. The build quality is generally well-received, and users find the system easy to upgrade. However, the included power supply is a common point of concern, with some users finding it underpowered for the system's components.

Hardware and build is solid but Psu is an issue. 500w for the Rtx4070 and Intel i7 is hilariously weak and also not enough for any future upgrades. Also comes with a ton of annoying bloatware that is really hard to get rid of. Would not recommend.

I originally bought a CyberPowerPC that came with a non-functioning 3070. Sad. I returned it the next day and bought this Lenovo Legion and it is AMAZING. Games run smoothly and look stunning. I have no complaints.

This PC is valued at a relatively decent price. Please keep in mind however, the screws in this thing are by far the worst screws I have ever worked with in history, all I wanted to do was upgrade my PSU(cause the one installed is a 600W) and install another m.2 but at least one screw from each important piece stripped upon disassembly. Also, the CPU cooler is disgustingly terrible to take apart, again an issue with the screws being horrible build quality. I suspect this is because Lenovo allowed either their or best buys employees to use drills when building the thing. So thanks for that I guess. Anyway, all in all if younever want to upgrade without buying a whole new PC then this PC is fine.

This was a fantastic machine for just over a year, running smoothly and handling everything I threw at it. I took excellent care of it, keeping it clean and well-maintained. Unfortunately, it unexpectedly fell into an automatic repair loop cycle and never recovered. Despite my efforts, it seems the power supply wasn’t strong enough to support its demands, which likely contributed to the issue. To be so expensive and hardly last more than a year is devastating. Thankfully I had the protection plan and best buy gave me full store credit for the item and I purchased a new pc.

I’ve had PC about a day, and am coming from playing on only console and controller up until now.
The difference in fps is astounding.
I have been reading that the motherboard included in this rig does not allow for true 5600MHZ for the RAM. I even upgraded to Crucial 5600MHZ 32GB of RAM easily but have been unable to get them running any higher than 4400 MHZ, so a bit of false advertising from Lenovo.
I’m also concerned about the PSU, as it’s only 500 watts.
NVIDIA recommends at minimum a 650 watt PSU for the RTX 4070.
My PC hasn’t crashed so far however I haven’t pushed this thing far yet.
Games I’ve played so far: Left 4 Dead 2, Star Wars Battlefront 2 (which has been running at 200fps on ultra settings which really surprised me cuz all the benchmarks I found showed far under that), Counter Strike 2, Rainbow Six Vegas 2.
What I love about having a PC is that now I have the entire steam library too, and being a PC Game Pass Ultimate, I have hundreds of Microsoft and EA games to download and play at my fingertips, and I’ve been able to buy games on steam, like L4D2, for $1!
Down the road I may upgrade my PSU and keep searching for a solution to the slow running RAM, but I honestly haven’t been able to notice it.
This beast runs games flawlessly and at super high fps.
I’m actually going to have to buy another monitor to get more fps cuz I’m getting well over 165fps in lots of shooting games so far at ultra settings.
Overall, I couldn’t be happier even for the price point. If I figure out a solution to the RAM issue I’ll let you know, but don’t let that stop you from buying one of these gaming PCs. It’s an absolute beast and an ideal first gaming PC.
(I’m also waiting to get my 2TB SSD from Crucial). I’ll let you know how difficult it was installing it, but Lenovo has an awesome support team and comprehensive maintenance guides so I’m not too concerned.

This computer is actually a little bit better than I was expecting. I upgraded the power supply to 850w and the ram to 32gb to better suit my needs. I use multiple 3d modeling software at the same time across multiple screens and needed the extra RAM and power. It runs very quiet and plays all the games I've tried so far very good. 150-220 fps. Graphics card maintains right at 71c, so it doesn't get too hot at all. If you are thinking about purchasing it look into a bigger power supply since 500w is basically the bare minimum to power the system. No room for expansion or overclocking at all.

I was in the market for a Desktop Gaming PC for a decent price which led me to this Lenovo Legion desktop. Let me get something out of the way real fast before I proceed, 500w on the power supply is too little for a machine like this. If you do decide to buy this gaming PC, do yourself a favor and upgrade the power supply as well.
With that out of the way, let's proceed.
There is minimum bloat on the machine, there are some Lenovo bloat that gets in the way sometimes but it's minimal. The RTX 4070 @ 12GB (not 8GB) is plenty fast for whatever you push it to. I run CoD, AC, Anno, and some other high demand graphics apps and this thing does not back down. I would recommend as well to bump up the overall system memory to 32GB instead of the stock 16GB, this will give you more room to breath.
The RGB in the system is.. meh, not exciting, I'm not a big fan of RGB myself so my opinion differs.
Overall this is a great machine that will please hardcore gamers or those who don't want to build your own.. just upgrade the power supply to at least 850w, and system memory to 32GB and you'll be golden.

Purchased as a gift for gaming. Great PC. The processor is super fast and the 4070 makes the graphics on all games look amazing. It has tons of storage for games and regular every-day work and school. The colors are super bright and really add to the ambiance when using the PC. You can also turn the lights on and off which is nice.

I bought this PC for work and rarely play games, so the graphics card (GPU) is probably wasted on me. As far as the specs go, though, this was the best deal for the kind of CPU and other hardware it has. That being said the power supply (PSU) is too small. Nvidia recommends a 650W PSU for the RTX 4070 GPU, but this PC comes with a 500W PSU. This may be a bigger deal for gamers than it is for someone like me, but I replaced the 500W PSU anyway. The PSU I upgraded to is a Be Quiet BN516 Straight Power 12 Platinum 1000W PSU. One benefit for me is that the new PSU is dead quiet, since it’s probably able to run in fanless mode most of the time for what I use my PC for. The fan in the 500W PSU that comes installed runs constantly, probably because it’s at 60% to 80% load all of the time. I wouldn’t have bought this PC if it hadn’t been on sale for $1,699.00, but think it was a good buy at that price, keeping in mind I spend another $300 to replace the PSU and have it installed.

Can't Go Wrong with Lenovo

I have had a few Lenovo products over the years. I was looking to upgrade my gaming rig. I have always custom built my own systems, but this time I went with something pre-built for simplicity. The front emblem and fans colors can be changed to any color and pattern. A big sell for me was the ability to upgrade as if I built the system. I have already added more storage to the rig. Lenovo put two HDD/SSD bays with power and SATA cables ready to go. Can't go wrong with Lenovo.

Very quiet under load (4k gaming and data analysis). Glad i did not spring for a 4090 for gaming machine. Plays games (diablo 4, cyber punk, elden ring, etc) very well at 4k high/ultra settings. Prefer this to my 3080ti dell xps desktop. The machine itself is kind of cool looking but that’s not high on my list. Would recommend.
