I was pretty impressed how much this laptop handles multi tasking different applications and documents. It may not be a performance laptop to handle a lot of applications but it can definitely handle tasks you through at it for a normal work day.

The device is so slow and there are no programs or files downloaded on it except for the internet protection that I got when I bought it and my printer program. It takes at least 5 minutes to boot up and when it finally does it still moves slow so when I am moving from one tab to the other the re s a constant delay. And the battery life goes down to nothing withing 45 minutes and that's being generous.

If you have installed a 3rd. party virus protection software on the computer without first uninstalling the 30-day trial software of McAfee installed on the computer, that is the reason for the slow performance. You will need to uninstall McAfee. Great laptop for the price

Ordered it very easily from Best Buy, added Office 365, and its been a working just fine, my wife loves it, she does all her work on it and has been just fine, totally recommend it.

My only complaint is I have to use WiFi only and I like being hardwired to the router. There is no Ethernet port so if you like that this is not the computer. I only found out when I opened it up at home. That is the only problem ordering online and not being able to see a display model.

I which I am able to fix that beside that it’s the essential thing for him right now

Upgradable to max 8GB ram, which I did. Good laptop to store pictures, videos, music with the 1 TB hard drive. Got hot quick and the spin was not as fast as an ssd. Lenovo low end laptops are inexpensive throw-aways that will do the job. As with any Lenovo, get it out of S-Mode, disable unnecessary services, and delete all the bloatware. Too bad Microsoft as of this typing will not allow the A6 processor to upgrade to Windows 11, but that's not Lenovo's fault.

Not Fast. Not Usable

But that was the only think quick about this computer. We bought this laptop for my son to do school work (no games) and he complained from Day 1 about how sluggish it is. I sat down with him and tried to type--with a huge lag with every keystroke. It is unusable as a computer. A doorstop, yes. A computer? no. I would return it if I could. Maybe it's the pitiful 4GB of RAM, but in retrospect, it's probably worth spending $80 more for a computer with more memory and at least nominal performance.

Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

I DONT DO ANY GAMING OR STREAMING. THIS LENOVO DOES EXACTLY WHAT I WANT IT TO DO. SOUND IS GOOD AND THE SCREEN IS BRIGHT, CLEAR AND VIVID. IT WAS VERY EASY TO SET UP AND USE. JUST BEWARE THAT IN ORDER TO DOWNLOAD CERTAIN APPS, YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE COMPUTER OUT OF "S" MODE.
