This was recommended by my IT department at work for remote access at home. It has been amazing this far. Still learning about and fine tuning my settings but this machine has alot to offer for work and personal use.

This Dual-Core processor has a base speed of 2.6GHz and a boost speed of up to 3.0GHz. This configuration has 4GB of RAM. It is good with Microsoft Office type programs, internet browsing and other moderate work. This model ships with Windows 10 S-Mode Operating System. Windows 10 S-Mode provides added security by only allowing APPs available ( and therefore certified by Microsoft) at the Microsoft Store. If unplugged, I last about 1.5-2 hours max just looking at email and online for work projects. Computer works for basic use. If the battery was better, I would probably give between 3 and 4 stars, since it was not purchased to be an amazing unit. However, less than a month old and the battery is insanely unreliable.

If you are only getting 1 to 2 hours battery life, be sure Battery conservation mode is turned off. This Power Management setting is for laptops that are plugged in all the time. Affordable and good choice for basic laptop

I bought this one for 1TB of storage space for photo storage and crafting projects and graphics. Also it is really lightweight. It doesn't have a cdrom drive but all in all it's worth the price.

It's easy to navigate and has a nice image and good color. I was able to get it on sale so that was also a plus. I use it mainly for emails, social media and minimal gaming. It's great for my needs.

You can keep your computer running at its best by keeping the Windows 10 Operating System and all supporting BIOS files and drivers up to date. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. It is a good laptop for the price

It is working fine. It is a sufficiently good laptop for a limited user. It is good for browsing the internet, watch movies and doing basic computing tasks. The screen is big and so my father finds it easy to view. It is light weight too. So carrying it is not a pain.

I purchased this computer on a Monday, by Friday the speaker was sounding horrible. I was going to keep it, but I couldn't take the noise. I thought the speed was pretty decent for the price. I got it as a back up. Then a couple days later, I realized how SLOW it was. My 6yr old computer was extremely faster. All I can say is, you get what you pay for!! Don't waste your time. Don't take the cheap way out.

Basic notebook that gets the job done.

She uses this with a wireless keyboard/mouse and a second monitor and this computer handles her work load with ease. 18 months later, the machine is still running strong.

His old laptop stopped working and with the whole shutdown, there was nowhere to take it to get looked at and all my (and remote) troubleshooting couldn't get it to work. So I looked for something basic that he could do his work from and watch videos; so he didn't need a microphone, or a webcam, or great graphics card or anything of the sort. He just needed something light enough but big enough that he could see. So far, it's been running like a champ and handles remote desktoping and all his video/tv apps like a champ. I did have to disable the windows s mode to get just about anything to work, which is a shame, and I'm not sure I'd trust it to play more than low level puzzle or card games, but as a basic system, it's great with a large hard drive, light frame, and ease of use on its side.
