This Dual-Core processor has a base speed of 2.6GHz and a boost speed of up to 3.0GHz. This configuration has 4GB of RAM. It is good with Microsoft Office type programs, internet browsing and other moderate work. This model ships with Windows 10 S-Mode Operating System. Windows 10 S-Mode provides added security by only allowing APPs available ( and therefore certified by Microsoft) at the Microsoft Store. If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 10 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost.

It’s not like any Lenovo I had in the past and the camera is not good at all. As far as getting on the web or doing anything Microsoft, it’s okay for that. So, not the best, but it gets the job done.

I like AMD PROCESSORS but this one is not that great. Basic need can work though. but really not a multifunctional device.

We appreciate your loyalty to the Lenovo Brand You can keep your computer running at its best by keeping the Windows 10 Operating System and all supporting BIOS files and drivers up to date. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". The first few days were great. The next few uses were PAINFUL! I purchased external everything as to not use up the small amounts of space on the machine...that helps, BUT the over intrusion of all the apps just makes it unusable to the point I'd rather not even bother! Went with Lenovo as that's what I use for work...this one...yeah...buyer's remorse...

I wanted the 1TB Hard Drive. I did need help removing the Windows 10S however, which I recommend. It has great usability. The screen is bright with clean detail, the keyboard easy to use, and touch pad responsive. I have discovered that I like using this as my primary -- it has surprisingly exceeded my expectations and is great value for my everyday needs.

Pro: Sleek design & light weight. Con: Very sharp, rounded corners and edge on the bottom portion of the laptop; can easily cut through the skin.

But it is a great price and has tons of space for your pictures, etc.

Fast for an inexpensive computer

Using with Windows 10 (not S!) and Microsoft 365. Battery seems to discharge a little faster than I like but still gives me enough time to complete what I want to do.

However, the limited RAM and the processor were not powerful enough to handle remote learning for my son. The video would cut out often. I ran multiple tests to diagnose the problem, but it came down to a simple lack of power. Overall this is an option for someone who is looking to browse the web, check e-mail, etc. Just stay away from video and other tasks that have higher processing demands.

Salesman told me I doesn’t have enough RAM for Windows 10 and tried up selling me. Quick search finds RAM is cheap and this unit is expandable.
