This laptop is amazing. I purchased on sale at Bestbuy ($870 with tax) and it has yet to let me down. The case design and materials are good (all metal). The battery is sufficient for the games I play (mostly sims, Starfield), at max settings about 2hrs. With just video and excel work, 8hr+. The display is where is beauty shines. 3K, 120HZ, VRR, and touchscreen. With the right overclocking settings from AMD and Nvidia, this baby can handle most AAA titles at lower settings, upscaling with the AI tensor cores is a blessing. Dislikes: -No HDMI port. Would love to connect this to my TV, could use USB-C but only at 2160p, I believe. -Must buy a cooling mat or stand, this thing gets hot but the fans do their job, just with the slim case design, the keyboard can get warm to the touch lol If this goes more on sale I’d say buy one immediately. Thanks for reading!

This laptop has been annoying since the day I got it - a week late, by the way. I don’t game or do anything insane on it. I edit images on Photoshop and hop over to my browser to upload them to private galleries for clients. It constantly gives me this terrifying blue screen (attached) and restarts for no reason. Waste of my money. My 9 year old laptop that this was meant to replace doesn't irritate me this much.

The Lenovo Slim 7 Pro X has truly been a game-changer for me. Its powerful processing speed has significantly improved my work efficiency, especially when multitasking. The keyboard is comfortable for extended use, and the battery life has proven to be impressive, lasting through long work sessions without needing frequent recharges. I particularly appreciate the attention to detail in the build quality – the aluminum chassis feels premium and durable. The laptop's connectivity options are extensive, providing versatility for various devices. The inclusion of USB-C and Thunderbolt ports adds convenience, allowing for quick data transfers and connections to external displays. One of the standout features for me is the stunning display quality. The slim bezels create an immersive viewing experience, making it a pleasure to watch movies or edit photos. The color accuracy is noteworthy, bringing visuals to life with vibrant and true-to-life hues. In terms of dislikes, I haven't encountered any significant issues. However, it's worth noting that the laptop's slim design might lead to slightly warmer temperatures during prolonged use, but it's well within acceptable limits. In conclusion, the Lenovo Slim 7 Pro X is a stellar choice for those seeking a combination of style and performance in a laptop. It has become an essential tool for both work and entertainment in my daily life. Highly recommended!

I initially bought the newer slim Pro 7 with the 7840HS and it's a near flawless laptop, correcting many flaws of this Pro X, but the build quality is not good. A metal exterior, but cheap plastic internals. Lenovo laptops are known to break at the hinges, and this is why. This Pro X has no such concern, it's all metal inside and out, and you can tell. For that reason I would not buy the newer model, and stick with this one. On with the review. The Pro X is one of the best windows laptops I've ever used, in that it's flaws aren't major enough to impact functionality or ease of use (for me at least). Almost every single windows laptop I've tried in the past was plagued with driver and QC issues, leaving me disappointed every time. And these were expensive machines, far more than this Pro X at $800. Zero modern standby issues, consistent battery life, zero driver problems, no major defects, etc. I'm truly impressed. That being said, you MUST do a clean install of windows to get the most out of this thing, as is the case with every windows laptop. The factory image has too much bloat, and kills battery life. It became much more responsive after the clean install too. Just install the necessary drivers and nothing else, and this thing will fly. The one major issue with this, though it doesn't bother me, is the 3050 is implemented rather poorly. With it enabled in the bios (on by default), the system will lock up every so often for a split second, along with audio popping. It's not a huge issue, but can be annoying. This is completely fixed by disabling the 3050 in the bios, and only using the integrated 680m. This may be a dealbreaker to some, but I didn't buy this for the GPU, I bought it because it's one of the only laptops that fit's my requirements, such as 200+ ppi 90+hz IPS display, good battery, good build, etc. The only other notable issue is the trackpad seems to rattle when tapped any harder than very light. I exchanged my first unit for another, and it also has the rattle. It's a design flaw, and it may bother you. My second unit is also DOA, no power. This doesn't affect my review, I assume it was dropped in shipping. Time to exchange again, sigh. Display is excellent, though could use better calibration. Trackpad is excellent minus the rattle. Keyboard is just OK, my second unit has a much better keyboard than my first, so there seems to be a lottery. Speakers are meh but useable, face unlock is acceptable, fan noise is a non issue though it can get warm, and battery life is at best 9 hours, though more likely 7. Overall one of the best windows laptops out there if you want a super sharp high refresh rate screen, just don't expect it to be flawless. If you want something that just works, buy a Mac.

I've had the laptop for a few days. And so far it exceedes my expectations. The build is beautiful, but do be aware that since it's a metal finish, it attracts fingerprints like crazy. Nevertheless it's a very well designed laptop and it's light and not to bulky. The screen is amazing as well. Resolution is 3K and it shows. Very bright and good color as well. Speakers sound good, nothing amazing but for sure better than most laptops. And the speed of the laptop is amazing. I hope it maintains it's performance for at least a couple years. I bought it at a discount @ $799. If you're able to get it at this price it's a no brainer.

I'm not a big tech nerd, but I was using a 2015 hp laptop for Years to play games it that it was not meant to run. I found myself in a good position to spend a decent chunk on a computer but all the specs I needed were way out of my price range so when I found this for 800 I jumped on it Q U I C K (after getting it nerd boyfriend approved lol) and I love it!! All my games run smoothly! I can play modded minecraft! 7 days to die runs well on low graphic settings which is insane for a laptop like this!! super slim and lightweight. the fan is a little loud when running games but with how well if runs them I'm not bothered. I got one of those vented laptop stands so that it doesn't get too hot while gaming for longer but it's running beautifully and one of my most favorite purchases in a long time.

I think this is one of the best laptops for this price with a compact design and good hardware. Sure you can get laptops at this price but if you want a compact laptop, I would recommend this one. This laptop is about 3 pounds with a 3k display 16gb Ram and a good processor. I use this laptop for school and gaming and had no complaints till now. The battery life is also good.

This laptop works perfectly for what I need it to do. It is good for casual gaming and work. It is a comfortable size, and a sturdy build. The computer does not overheat or make loud fan noises, even when playing games. The laptop was packaged securely to arrive undamaged, and was very easy to set up. I am very satisfied with this product.

Very happy with this purchase. First time using an AMD processor and it's as fast as any Intel unit I've used. Large storage capacity and the 16 gb of memory ensures that everything runs quickly and smoothly. Facial recognition works well and battery life has been good. The biggest plus was that I got it on sale for $600 than normal.

This is a surprisingly capable machine for the price. I have an ASUS gaming laptop I bought earlier in the year that cost twice as much as this Lenovo laptop, yet it is only a little bit better. The Lenovo laptop is very light and sleek, and yet is fairly capable when it comes to productivity tasks and even mid-level gaming. The main things that I think I could be improved are: There is too much unnecessary pre-installed software, and there is no RAM expansion slot. If those things don't bother you, this is a great laptop.

I traded in my M2 Macbook Pro 13, I thought this would be a mistake, however it's one of best choices I made this year. Better yet my trade in covered the cost of this Lenovo. I got double the RAM, four times the storage. I thought I would miss my touch bar, But got a touchscreen. Thought I'd miss being able to lift the lid and it powers on, Setting was in the bios. Great Aluminum build. Kind of miss touch ID, windows HELLO!? Currently is as snappy as my old Macbook, slightly less battery life, and slightly less power when unplugged. More ports, Awesome touchscreen display

Really amazing laptop. Was looking for a lightweight laptop that could still pack a punch as I travel occassionally and need to work remotely. Wanted it to have some gaming capabilities and be able graphics programs like Adobe Illustrator, as well as the basics like Microsoft 360 (Teams is notoriously bad...). I tried the Dell XPS 13" and Samsung Galaxy 13" 360 for these reasons - were supposed to be a good combination of all and extra portable (and they were indeed very portable!), but just didn't have the additional features I needed the laptop to have. Not clunky at all, screen is beautiful and AMD processor runs way smoother than intel. No extra loud whirring fan noises for anything so far either. Super lightweight and portable compared to other laptops of similar spec! Very happy with it. It's worth saying I got this laptop hugely discounted in a sale (I was on a budget, I paid ~$800 for it) - so if you see it on sale for close to this price, I wouldn't hesitate.

I have had It for 2 weeks now and it functions very well. Pros: Great screen, graphics, performance, not loud, good but minimal ports, keys feel nice, touchpad is large. Slight Cons so far: Battery life isn't quite what it says, but that may be because I have had the display on 120hz. The underside of the laptop has a gap beneath it so it flexes in and out slightly like the lid of a jar, it hasn't bothered me so far but I don't know if it's intentionally like that for effective airflow or if it may impact any of the internal components. Those things may bother some people, but otherwise it has been a worthwhile purchase.

Hello, Joseph. Thank you for choosing Lenovo! Thankfully through apps like Lenovo Vantage or System Settings, battery life can be improved by adjusting settings such as refresh rate, screen brightness, and more. Also, the "gap" you are referring to may be the clearance under the bottom cover of the laptop to help the air intake to get more airflow to improve cooling performance. We are pleased to hear that your Slim 7 Pro X meets your needs so well and we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. Lenovo

I've really enjoyed this computer for the last two months. The screen looks great, battery life is awesome, and it runs very quick. I would say the only downside at times, is the sound level of the fan. It can be a little noisy at times. Overall great computer!

This laptop is high quality in its build and performance. It is sleek and slim with loads of power. I have played Arma 3 and a smattering of Total War games on this laptop and it has performed exceptional. The fan is quiet even when under load. The resolution is stunning, crisp, and elegant and the build quality is on par with mac, but better because it is PC! The only downside is the lack of a few ports such as HDMI, but you can but a lenovo dock with the addition ports for less than $40 (which I planned on doing anyways). All in all, I would highly recommend this laptop!

The laptop has a lot of very good specs for the price! Very quick on launching apps and games however, there is a slight delay in boot up compared to other laptops of similar price points. Display is amazing, keyboard has dimmable lighting and there is also a privacy shutter for the front camera, perfect for those Zoom calls! This laptop won't play games with decent FPS on ultra settings but there is still a very good experience on above average settings. Decent battery life given the performance it requires.

If you are in the market for a macbook pro or air but you want Windows this is it. You dont need to emply your wallet to get a beutiful exellent quality compact and light weight laptop. Way more powerfull than any M2 processor from apple and study gorgeous 3k display log battery life and touch screen for less than $800 is a dream come true. I got this laptop for office work. So far it has served its purpose well. It works as fast as my other i7 XPS laptop. The display is stunning. 16GB ram is fine. Laptop is very light and compact but still has sufficiently big screen. I sometimes take it to dining and work from there. Normally I use a dell dock to connect it to two monitors with no issues. It does not heat up or make loud fan noise, It has a good camera that can be used for the zoom meetings. Nice machine as expected. Would recommend this to a friend.

The laptop's performance is as advertised. It's fast, light, and well-designed. A great machine for its size and price overall. However, I've been experiencing some errors after some use now and then that require me to reset the computer. I wonder if this might be because of faulty hardware on the laptop I received or in this model in general. Would have given it a 5 star if it was not because of this hiccup.
