Overall good
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really liked it. I upgraded from a very old alarm clock to this one that can essentially do everything that an amazon echo/show can do but with google. It has a bright screen can link music to listen straight from the clock itself and has a wireless charger so i dont have so much clutter on my nightstand. I purchased it on a deal of the day so that made it that much better.

Great Clock, Bad Wireless Charger
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a great looking clock that I feel happy having on my nightstand. Does all the smart features I need, so all in all I am very happy with the clock itself. It's the wireless charging dock that is driving me up the walls and I am not alone. For some reason it doesn't support ALL qi wireless charging devices out there, only some. My Samsung Z Fold 3 doesn't charge on the pad, but my Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 do. This is after taking off the phone case and trying for awhile to line it up perfectly to no avail. Really hope this gets fixed soon as I have never had this issue before with a wireless charger because it shouldn't be an issue.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Smart Clock 2 with Wireless Charging Dock. The wireless charging dock is compatible with both Qi as well as MagSafe Wireless Charging format. If your phone is compatible but will not charge while on the Smart Clock 2 Wireless Charging Dock, try resetting the Smart Clock 2 while it is connected to the Wireless Charging Dock. Hold down both the minus and plus buttons at the top of the Smart Clock 2 for 12-seconds, then follow the on screen instructions. Try the wireless charger after this reset. If the issue continues, we recommend you contact lenovo Tech Support for Smart Devices for additional help at: 866-426-0911.

1st smart clock
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.1st smart clock I've owned. I bought it mainly for the wireless charging. Easy to setup, voice control works (turning off lights while in bed is a nice thing). I like how the base of the unit lights up briefly when it starts to charge a device wirelessly so you know it's placed right. At $50 it was the same price as other 'dunb' clocks with wireless charging.

Not Compatible With iPhone 13 or +
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The clock has a modern style and the Google Home integration was great, but the wireless not work with iPhone 13 or 14, the phone stops to charge, try with an iWatch S7 and the same thing, I think was designed for Android

works okay, could improve
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They could make the numbers different colors rather than white only or white with a black outline. It truly is hard to see. Otherwise, it charges my new apple phone just fine with a little finagaling

It's a Smart Clock, not a Smart Hub
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I first set this unit up, I was a bit disappointed. In my mind, I was expecting a smart hub that would handle video chat, let me stream video, or display digital recipes. I’m not sure why my mind went there since it is clearly marketed as a smart clock, but it did. Once I got my head around what this thing is actually designed to do, it made a lot more sense and I started to like it. Setup is super easy, barely an inconvenience. Just plug it in, hook it up to WIFI, let it update, and then complete the setup from your smartphone using the Google Home app. It took me a minute to think through how I wanted to configure things. I have other smart devices in my house and I needed to get it assigned to the right “home” and “room” to make it intuitive and manageable by other people in the house. Just pause and think for a second and you won’t have any trouble. It give you the option of configuring it for unique voices, but it seems to work just fine for all of us without going through that part of the setup. Since we use this in a common room of the house, we hooked it up to it’s own Google account so that we can use the calendar as a sort of family calendar without having our personal things showing up on the smart clock. The screen is nice. 4” touch with nice brightness and color. It is responsive and intuitive. Swiping from each of the 4 sides activates a different set of options/functions for you to configure. There aren’t a ton of settings, so don’t worry about it being overly complicated. If you can navigate your smartphone, you aren’t likely to have any trouble with this device. I am disappointed that, with such a nice screen, the device can’t connect to a video service and stream something directly. I would have loved to put this in my kitchen so I could watch video clips or look up recipes while I cooked dinner, but alas, it’s just not designed for that application. Too bad. I am impressed with the mic and speaker. The mic is sensitive enough that I don’t have to yell across the room. I was able to link it to my music streaming service easily enough. Now I can ask it to play a song anytime something pops into my head. The kids like to ask it to tell jokes or give compliments. It’s kind of cute and silly, but we like it. The speaker is surprisingly loud and has a pretty good sound for being so small. Kudos on the speaker design! I don’t find it terribly useful for controlling other android devices around my home. While it certainly can, it just doesn’t seem necessary. For instance, I have an android TV in the same room that is also part of my Google Home setup. I can tell the clock to turn on a show and it will pull it up on my tv. But, it’s just as easy to tell the TV to tune to a certain show. Since everything is smart, I’m not sure what benefit I get from being able to tell the clock to perform a function on some other device rather than just telling that device directly. There is one weird thing that I can’t figure out. My TV is clearly named a certain thing, and it shows that way in the TV settings and the Google Home settings. But the Clock things it has some other weird name, and I can’t seem to find any way to tell the clock what it’s truly named. When I want the clock to control the TV, I have to use the name that the clock likes or it can’t find the device. I do find that competing device is an issue. My TV, my Clock, and all 4 of our Cell Phones are listening for the magic Google words. When we say something, they all try to help at once. I realize I can turn off different mics, but who wants to manage that? I find myself getting frustrated when I want to set an alarm on the clock but end up setting it on 4 different devices because they all heard me say the magic words. I’m still trying to figure out how to manage this, but so far, I’m struggling a bit. The Clock would be great in a room without other listening devices, but in a room full of listening devices, it’s a challenge. I do enjoy having the wireless charger and the extra USB A port so I can charge something like a smart watch or fitness tracker. I find that I have to get my phone in the sweet spot for the charger to kick in. I’m not sure if it’s a picky charging pad or just my phone case, but I have to make sure it hooks up before I walk away. It’s easy to tell when it does because the nightly right flashes. Oh…btw…it has a nightlight ring. I haven’t needed it yet, but it’s there if I want some dim mood lighting while watching a movie or something. I do like that it has the weather handy at all times. I’m kind of a weather junky, so that appeals to me. It also allows you to easily set alarms and choose clock faces with or without background pictures. So, there you go. If you want a smart clock and you don’t have a lot of other listening devices around it, I think you will like it. If you are looking for video/camera capabilities, this isn’t for you. Just know what it is designed to do and I think you will like it. Go in blind with the wrong expectations and you’ll end up returning it.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Smart Clock 2. You can turn the microphone off on the Smart Clock 2 once you have your alarms set so the Smart Clock 2 will not conflict with other Google Smart Devices you have in the same room. We are pleased to hear that the Smart Clock 2 is working out so well for you.

Perfect for a desk or night table
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lenovo makes quality innovative products. This device doesn't disappoint. It's smaller then I expected but that's ok because we're using this on a desk. The wireless charger is awesome and there's an extra USB port for charging another item like our wireless earbuds. The Google Assistant works smoothly just like all our other Nest Hubs in our house. Keep up the great work with Google Assistant devices Lenovo.

My Lenovo alarm clock is not an alarm at all
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unfortunately its defective....the alarm sound will not stay at the higher setting...its so low in fact that it is useless to use as an alarm clock. I am very familiar with how to work the volume in tbe settings as this is my 3rd Google clock. I do however love the wireless charging. It was perfect until i realized that it Wasn't me. I did set my alarm and it did go off. It was just so low that you have to put your ear directly on the clock to hear it

Overall, good
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got it on sale. Like the idea...and the clock-Google is nice. The charger is a bit of a pain as you have to put the phone on just right for it to work. Still, if you can get it on sale, it is worth it.

Nice but nothing special
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice product but no valud reason on this purchase. Nice for bedside table or desk clock but most everyone already has something similar. Not sure if the wireless charger shuts off after your phone is charged but i do hope so. There is no indicator like on others. Speaker is clear and louder than previous model.
