Over-priced clock and phone charger

My smartphone already has all the same capability as the lenovo clock. My husband bought this for me because he doesn't yet fully understand technology. He wanted me to be able to charge my phone from my desk without plugging in another cord. Guess what... i have to plug in another cord. We already have an echo show so this device doesn't really compare or fit my personal needs. I gave it 3 stars because it was attractive in terms of looks and style. Consider lowering the price. It does not display video from the clock itself.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that the Lenovo Smart Clock 2 with Wireless Charging Dock does not meet your needs. The wireless charging dock is compatible with both Qi and MagSafe format wireless charging. The Smart Clock 2 does not have a video camera so you can feel comfortable using the Smart Clock 2 and Wireless Charging Dock in private areas, like a bedroom or child's room. Makes a nice gift!

Nightstand Nightmare

For just over two months I've been dealing with the periodic problems of this device. First I'll start with the wireless charging for my iPhone 12 ProMax. I set my phone down all lined up and in it's magnetic position. The ring lights up on my iPhone and the night light lights up. The iPhone shows it's charging and when I get up in the morning my battery is nearly dead 70% of the time so I no longer use the charging pad. 2nd is connectivity. If Apple Music is your default media it will not play on here. I have no problems with my NEST hub max or Nest speakers just the Lenovo where it always says "Hmm something went wrong". So I use Pandora for my google devices now. 3rd This device loses connection with my wi-fi partially every few days. When I lay down at night and say "Google play music everywhere" it responds with the google assistant complying but the music plays on other devices not this one. When I go to the Google home app it won't connect to this device, so I'm forced to unplug and set it up again. If I didn't live 130 miles away from Best Buy this would've been returned a long time ago.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Lenovo Smart Clock 2 with Wireless Charging Dock. First, be sure you are using the Google Home APP you used to initially setup your Lenovo Smart Clock 2. Be sure that the Smart Clock 2 is connected to the same WiFi as the devices you want to pair with the Smart Clock. You can cast music to other Bluetooth speakers on your Google Home Network, but you can on send streaming audio fro a different device to this Smart Clock 2. Initiate audio through the Smart Clock 2 then cast to your other Google Home Devices. Concerning the wireless charging issue, the wireless charging dock paired with the Smart Clock 2 is compatible with Qi and MagSafe wireless charging formats. If your phone is compatible, but the charging issues still occur, try resetting the Smart Clock 2 back to original factory settings. You can do this by swiping up on the Smart Clock 2 touch screen. Select the Settings Gear icon. Go to About Device and scroll down to Factory Reset. Follow the on-screen directions provided. If the wireless charging and WiFi connectivity issues continue after the factory reset, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support for Smart Devices for additional help at: 866-426-0911.

Fair clock, worthless charging pad

Simple features, more like a Google Home (speaker) with an auto adjusting screen, plus a photo frame. Simple but useful in the bedroom. The wireless charging pad is a disaster since it won't charge my Pixel 6 and the Lenovo Support did not want to fix it.

Unusable: Wi-Fi Disconnects ALL THE TIME

Now it keeps disconnecting from Wi-Fi. Work-arounds from Lenovo forums DO NOT WORK. Lenovo: please update your firmware so that your product can be useable and actually provide the services claimed within the product description.

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with WiFi connectivity with your Lenovo Smart Clock 2 with Wireless Charging Dock. Resetting the Smart Clock 2 back to original settings will also allow the device to install any software updates that are available. Hold down both the plus and minus buttons on the top of the Smart Clock 2 for 12-seconds. Then follow any on screen instructions. If the WiFi issue continues after the reset, we recommend you contact lenovo Tech Support for Smart Devices for additional help at: 866-426-0911.
