should have gotten one long ago! I've been using an ancient alarm clock with an annoying alarm, just too cheap to buy a new one because the old one still worked. WHAT AN UPGRADE! I don't know everything this little clock does yet, but it waked me gently with a sweet chime and dim light that gets brighter, then gives me the weather for the day. Plays music, gives news, reads audiobooks...I love it!

I was super excited to finally upgrade to a smart clock. Set it up, linked all of my music and video playing stuff, and was stoked to be able to play music while I worked. Except, it didn't. It very nearly refused to play any music I asked it to, save for a single album out of 10 different albums attempted, all via Youtube Music (My poor Google Play Store, RIP). To note, the first few, while not obscure, were definitely not top 40s stuff. The last ones definitely were, and it couldn't figure them out either. Individual songs were hit and miss - several times it would tell me it was playing, sit on a blank grey screen for a moment, then revert to the home screen. I did try casting music from my phone, it refused to play even though it confirmed I could select it as a device to cast to. I gave up. I tried to get it to play Hulu, which I had linked. It doesn't say anywhere that it can't and actively encourages setting up linked video streaming services during set up. It didn't, it couldn't figure out where to play them somehow. I tried via casting, it wouldn't either. Gave up. Tried the assistant's features. It didn't understand me well, so I brought my girlfriend in, who it also didn't understand. We have pretty typical Californian accents, neither of us mumbles, so we're not sure how that worked. When it did understand either of us, it could only answer basic questions, like "how much is x + y," "What date is the next holiday", "Who starred in Z movie," etc. Commands were basically nonexistent, as far as we could tell, because every time we tried to get the assistant to do something substantial, it would always give us the "I'm sorry, I don't understand your question" response. It's weather wasn't accurate. It said it was cloudy. I looked outside and saw a few wispy clouds. Points for technicalities, I guess? The only things I actually enjoy about this are that it looks decent, it seems to be constructed well, and its alarm system seems to work. Ergo, it was basically an expensive alarm clock. Entirely not worth it. It's going to be returned ASAP, I could buy a much better alarm clock at half the price of this piece of junk. I very strongly recommending buying something else.

Great buy - I can sync my phone to it and play music?!!!

I bought this second model because my son needed a clock radio and asked if he could have the first model I had purchased and used for several months before the holidays. This model appears to have a lot of glitches. It has difficulty connecting to internet streaming services, like SiriusXM and TuneIn (long delays or timeouts occur). It also is clunky to navigate. If you are deciding which model to buy, I would recommend you buy Lenovo's first model. It is a very simple design which works well and connects well to internet streaming services, unlike Lenovo's second model.
