Numbers can be a little bright at night. Weather is clearly displayed. Volume for relaxing night sounds is a little too low. Basic smart clock with google smartphone features for a low price! I have three stars because this is good for the price but I like the options available in the other model better.

Posted .Hello, thanks for choosing the Lenovo Smart Clock Essential. To lower the brightness of the screen try saying "Okay Google Screen brightness 1%. You can raise or lower the volume of the speaker by pressing the volume up or down buttons on the top of the Smart Clock or by saying "Okay Google Volume up, or 50%, or a number 1-10". If you have routine setup to play relaxing sounds when you go to sleep you can adjust the volume the sounds start playing at in the Google Home App under your Routine settings.

In the event of a brief power outage there is no need to worry as your repeating alarm settings will be retained and the time will atomically reset to the correct time once your WIFI connection resumes.

You can adjust the sound of your speaker by adjusting the bass and treble. To do this please open the Google Home App on your smartphone or tablet, open the Smart Clock Essential's settings, then select the three lines at the top of the menu.
