This is by far the best alarm clock ever! Just tell it want you want and it is done, no more trying to find the buttons in the dark! It has a bright (or dim for at night) easy to read display and excellent sound quality for such a small speaker. I enjoyed my first one so much, I gave three of these as gifts.

I already own the Lenovo Smart Clock and enjoy it very much. I needed another clock for my basement and the Smart Clock Essential does everything I want and more - Time, weather, temperature, Google Assistant. One of my favorite things is pairing it with the new Google Chromecast to turn on my basement TV.

This clock works super well! It is clear to read from any angles, and the built in USB and Nightlight are game changers. Plus with google built in, it’s highly capable as a speaker too. Compared to a google home mini and a separate alarm clock this is an amazing deal

Got this as part of a packaged special deal (with smart C by GE light bulbs) and we are very happy with it. The clock has Google Smart Assist which enables setting schedules such as turning off some lights / turning on others and playing soothing sounds at bedtime. A very cool product.

Best $25 I ever spent (it was one sale). Use Spotify to wake up every morning and the display can be turned off at night. I use it to automatically turn my lights on every morning. It looks more expensive than it really is. Would easily get this as a gift.

Bought this for my family. Perfect for people who like the old school alarm clocks with google assistant integration. The built in night light that automatically turns on and off when alarms go off is amazing (makes it easy to cancel alarm while in the dark)

I ordered this alarm clock for my neighbor because she needed an alarm clock that was easy to set. What could be easier than a clock you can talk to, and you tell when to wake you? It’s a plus that it has a nightlight, and will answer answer your questions. It’s exactly what she needed.

This was a fantastic little surprise. Its a great little clock in my sons room. He can ask Google questions and get answers. Works as a night light. Setting the alarm clock has never been easier. Just ask Google. "Hey Google, set an alarm clock for tomorrow morning at 8:00". Done.

Google works well on this. I only wish the alarm was louder. Good if you’re a light sleeper and don’t rely on much noise to wake up.

Replaced an old generation 1 google mini with this. Great as it has a very nice display and great sound. Able to get rid of my old digitial clock too so much more space on the nightstand. Similar features as the former google mini with the bonus clock and temperature.

I like this alarm clock. It was easy to set up and works just like my other google devices. Got it on sale for a great price. Speaker quality is decent for its size. Built in night light is a nice feature. Overall very pleased.

This smart clock is great. The size and the features are just right, and it works just perfectly. I actually prefer this "essential" version than the larger Lenovo smart clock, as it is smaller and easier to use. I am very happy with this purchase and strongly recommend it.

Great smart clock, temperature display is awesome to have at a quick glance all while having the power of Google voice built in! The sound is decent for a small clock speaker device and you can group it with your other Google Home devices to play music on all at once.

We initially just wanted something simple for my fiancé and I’s bedroom. It’s a simple device that doesn’t have a fancy display or anything. But just as a clock with also Google assistant, it is really nice. I haven’t used the nightlight feature at all. But really enjoy this simple and useful clock!

I got this alarm for my wife after she could not find anything that worked the way she wanted. The voice commands on this alarm, the subtle light introduction when the alarm goes off, and all of the wireless functionality, makes this one of the best purchases we’ve ever made for such a low price.

Just what I needed. Setting up an alarm kind of took getting used to, but otherwise, simple. The speaker is loud and clear, especially for the price. Definitely worth checking out if you want a nice, yet simple smart clock.

I really like the Lenovo Smart Clock Essential and recently bought a second (one for my room, one for my kid's). It's pretty much a Google Nest Mini (Google Home Mini) with a old-school LED clock face and a couple extra features (USB charging port, nightlight, weather/temperature display, physical buttons). It's ideal to have on your nightstand or the like. Just be aware that the sound quality is barely better than the Google Nest Mini's, so music playback remains poor. It also seems less slightly sensitive to voice commands than the Home Mini. Note that the nightlight will automatically come on shortly before any scheduled alarm (presumably to help you get ready to wake up). I'm not aware of any way to change this, but once the nightlight comes on, you can press the volume down button for a few moments to turn it off (or use the voice command "nightlight off").
