I use this alarm clock everyday. Works well with my smart devices. Make sure you remove the clear protective film after opening it, so your voice can be heard clearly. The night light feature behind the alarm clock was a nice, unexpected added feature.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my father who has certain physical challenges. The integrated Google Assistant substantially improves an already aesthetically pleasing experience. I wouldn’t say this product is for everyone, but below MSRP, I think it is a great value.

Good sound, easy to see. However Google Assistant is not very responsive. I often have to repeat the commands or yell for it to listen. I have other Google devices that work much easier with voice commands.

Design: Overall very nice! The display is very sharp and the clock works in almost any space. It’s nice that it has a built in “night-light” but it could be brighter. Functionality: Does everything the google assistant can do plus set non-google assistant alarms, view the weather with a glance and play music etc. Speakers: Ehh. Don’t get this just for playing music. It’s alright for podcasts or audiobooks but it’s easy to notice the less than average speaker quality. Setup: Relatively easy. It’s like setting up any other smart device through google home. However there are definitely much fewer settings than a regular google assistant has. Additionally I ran into a problem where unplugging the clock and plugging it back in made it unresponsive and setting it up again in the app did not work. It took a factory reset to fix the issue.

Small and simple but gets the job done. Paired it with GE smart light bulbs so now I can turn on all the lights in my house via voice command. Gave it a 4 star because when turning on all the lights via voice command, the night light on it goes on as well.

I really like being able to speak to the smart clock-especially when setting the time or alarm. Its so much nicer than having to manually reset the time or alarm. I also really like the bright light so I can actually see the time from across the room.

This alarm clock is awesome! Bought for my 9yr old son and he loves it! Only down side which is every now and again it disconnects from wifi. Aside from that does what I need it to do my son loves that he can tell google to play his music.

Hook it up to your Google home on your device and you should be able to see the weather listen to music and also set the alarm. Through the clock and in the back they have a little light as a night light for the night time if you have it in your child's room.

I like this little clock, however for me it was kind of a challenge to get it set up. I wouldn't discourage anyone from buying it do to that reason because that might just be me. Its small so it works if you do not have tons of room for extra things.

This is a nice device, time, weather, and music. Add your account for Pandora, sound out is clear, not overly loud but much better than you old school alarm clock. My first Google device versus Alexa, and it works great.

Very happy with this smart clock. Time is always accurate, no need to adjust for day light saving. Sound quality is great for the size and using it as a bedside alarm clock. Would recommend it.

My grandgirls love their clocks. Easy to use and works great. Alarms help with getting up for school on time. Would recommend to friends and family. Would definitely buy again. Price was nice too..

First off!! This is not a touch screen. It is a simple clock with weather and temperature that has google built it. Awesome for any age bedroom or office. Setting bedtime mode lets it get bright as the sun rises and dims when it's time for bed.

This is a nice alarm clock. It has a bright display that is easy to read. I appreciate that it tells me the current temperature. I didn't actually need the online capabilities, but it is nice having the Google functions. I can play music and it questions.

I wanted a simple, easy to read and not so bright side table clock. This is the best one on the market. You cant beat it for the price and functionality. You will need google home on your phone though. I bought 2 and am planning to buy another.

Great alarm clock with google assistant, outside temp reading, usb charging port, and a bonus night light. Had the regular Lenovo Smart Clock that I ended up returning due to the never ending internet connection issues. For my use, I'm glad I went with the essential!

We bought 2 of these for our spare bedrooms for when the kids come home to stay. They love them. Hook right up to the rest of our google homes. They love to be able to just set the alram clock with a "hey google".

Love this little clock. It's very easy to set up with the google app so you won't have any trouble connecting your smart devices to it. I use the voice commands to control my Philips hue lights and it works perfectly. I like the built-In weather report as well.

I had the hub mini before, but with this device I get to see the time, temperature, and weather, all in one place when I wake up. It's not as good as having one of the full display nest devices, but it's just what I need next to my bed.

Not the loudest speaker, especially when compared to Google Nest Mini, but as an alarm clock and just use before going to bed it's fantastic thanks to night light and voice commands.
