I got this because I got the other version of this last year with he color screen but it didn't offer much customization. i think this is a much better option for most people because its just a clock.... with google assistant!

This is a perfect addition to my Google products. Very responsive when asking questions or to do something. Great size too. Not too big , not too small.

Great for what it does. Basic as there is a model above that is color. I like the Google Assistant that is a part of the clock. That is the main reason for the purchase.

Half the functions of this are unusable - there's no easy way to set alarms except a series of button presses and holds - can't set it through your phone or sync it in any way. Because of this I still just use my phone. The screen is far too bright to sleep with at night - you can set it to dim, but the steps to get to that point are overly complicated. Or you can tear it apart and put in a filter like I've seen online. My screen half-functions after about a year -- sections of the character displays are half-dim if they illuminate at all, which makes reading the time a gamble. The bluetooth function randomly stopped working and no amount of hard resets has fixed this, and since I don't use a Google supported music service I have no way to play music through it. A major feature that would set this apart would be to have a back up battery so that if you lose power you could at least wake up to an alarm - if you bother to go through the steps of setting one in the first place. It's only function at this point is for me to ask Google to turn my smartlights on and off, or occasionally I'll ask it to play sleep sounds, but I can do that with my phone and a bluetooth speaker too, so yeah it's pretty much worthless. Oh, I guess it's also a microphone in my room that Google uses to spy on me and probably send subliminal messages to me while I sleep.

Great Smart Clock! Setup was easy. Just add it to your Google Home system and your ready to go. Easy to read display. You can set the alarm to play anything from your play list.

It works as a clock, which is all I needed it to do. I like that it set itself and has the temp for outside. Definitely buy it on sale tho

This clock does what I need it to do. I wanted digital clock at night while replacing a google home mini that was inconsistent in performance. The device is a step slower than a regular google home device. If you are in range of a google home device, it will respond before this device even though you are closer to the clock. One problem that I ran into is that I named my the smart bulb in my bedroom "night light". The clock has a light on it as well the reponds to that command. When I asked google to turn on night light intend for my smart bulb, it would turn the clock's light as well. However when I said to turn it off, the clock's light would stay on. I had to change the name of my smart bulb to get around it. Overall a good device.

Good alarm clock, a bit smaller. Google Assistant speaker isnt good. Alarms on the smartwatch doesn't sync with other Google Assistant devices and doesn't show in the Google Assistant apps.

This is a great product if you are already in the Google assistant eco system. It functions the same as a Google home just with added clock and night light.

I really like this smart clock, everything works fine plus it's easy to set it up. I've had it for a while but I see some numbers fading away... I will probably buy one more. Thank you

Love it. We needed a smart clock to know the time, and to be able to ask Google questions, and I love that it's so small. We replaced a bigger smart device, and this is the perfect size.

Really nice bedroom clock. Nite light provides just enough light. Haven’t figured out yet it it has whisper mode like Alexa. The weather symbol disappears sometimes but then reappears. Not a big deal.

This is a really nice clock! The display adjusts for the surrounding light level and gets dim at night. It lets you know the weather and temp. You can turn off the microphone in the back so its not always listening!

Great to replace a smart speaker on a nightstand that does not have a display. Weather is a nice addition and is compatible with the rest of the google smart home ecosystem.

I have been using an Echo Dot with clock for my morning alarm but it is far from perfect. It is difficult to snooze vs. end the alarm and I cant figure out how to set the alarm volume. The Lenovo "Essential" makes it easier to snooze or turn the alarm off. It still does not have a separate alarm volume. I returned this and got the Smart Clock with Google Assitant which is actually what I meant to buy. It was on sale for the same price as this one (Essential). I grabbed the wrong one, save up and buy the other one or wait for a sale like me! This version does not have a touch screen (for snooze or kill the alarm) The other version does, it is much more convenient.

Great clock . It is amazing all the things you can do with it . My wife likes the way you can set alarms and control lighting during the early morning when we get up for work or if she hears a noise at night .

Works as advertised. Another solid "hey Google" product that has alarms and plays music. Soon loves it too much. He talks to it at night. Only reason it's not a 5 star.

This smart clock works great well with my google assistant enabled devices. I never thought I'd be buying another alarm clock after having a smart phone but this smart clock has definitely come in handy.
