Nice addition to my home's tech family

It pretty consistently controls my devices as requested, though I may have to repeat myself. Sometimes it says my Chromecast is offline and won't turn it on, so that's really a toss us. But it more reliably controls my lights. MY ONLY ISSUE is that some of the pixels are going out and I cannot tell what the temp is. If it's 71 degrees, it'll look like 11 degrees. Not a hugh deal, but I hope this doesn't progress.

Posted .Hi! Thanks for choosing the Lenovo Smart Clock Essential. We appreciate your feedback as we are always looking for ways to improve our Smart Devices. To manually turn off the nightlight you can hold the volume - button on top of the device for 30 seconds or with a voice command like "Okay google nightlight off". It is possible to setup a custom routine to automate the nightlight. To get started please open up the Google Home app on your smart phone or tablet. Next select "routines". After that please select your Smart Clock Essential from the device list at the bottom of the screen. Next please select the mult-colored "+ " Sign to add a new custom routine. Then Add a starter with the time of day to start the routine. If it asks to add a voice command add one, however the routine should work without having to give the voice command. Lastly add a custom action. Please type "Turn off nightlight" in the text box of the custom action. You have now created a custom routine to turn your nightlight on at a certain time.
