It has a number of features that I am not using as I was really wanting just a clock. The instructions for installing the unit were not as clear as I would like. For some reason the connector from the power supply fits very loosely in the jack on the device and kept loosing contact which required taping in position to fix. Also the power cord should be at least two or three feet longer.

The AC adapter plug on the back of the Smart Clock Essential will firmly connect to the clock and be flush against the back of the clock when properly installed. Check to be sure that the AC adapter plug is flush against the back of the Smart Clock when plugged into the power port. If you continue to have issues, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support for Smart Devices at: 866-426-0911.
