Smart alarm clock with google assistant. Can be used to turn on/off google home devices or as bluetooth/wifi speaker. Has light to be used as night lamp.

This is basically a Google Nest Mini, with a visible clock display. Does it have a screen -- yes. Is it touchscreen -- no. Is it meant to replace a Google Nest Hub -- no. It has a speaker and can play music, but it's not meant to replace your Sonos. I bought this because we cut the cord (cancelled CableTV) and we used to rely on our cable box to tell time in our living room. Although smaller than a wall clock, the display is bright and clear enough to see from across the room and the display brightness can be adjusted automatically (sensor) or on a schedule through the Google Home app (timer). It's primary function is to visibly tell time, which it does a great job of. The temperature/weather indicators, Google assistant, speaker functionalities are just bonuses on top. I got this on sale and probably wouldn't purchase at full retail. But also not surprised to see this product stay at the sale value for quite some time and for the price I got it for, I am very happy with it.

First of all, I'm already all-in on the Google Assistant ecosystem, so having a device that was both Assistant and clock just makes sense for our home. I upgraded from an older Insignia smart speaker with a clock on it, but took up way too much room on my nightstand. And as a clock it really does fit in the bedroom very nicely. The grey fabric is elegant and fits in with the decor, the clock is small and dominated by its generous grey display. A few touches I enjoy are the ability to turn the brightness down at night with the Home app, and the ability to glance and see the time and current temperature. The speaker is clear, but it's not intended for listening to the Google lady's voice or some quiet music. The quirks of this little device...I miss the rechargeable battery backup of my Insignia unit, even a little 9v battery to back up the time during power loss would be a nice touch, but if you have alarms set up and you lose power, you're out of luck, this clock will go down with your power. Also, if your Internet connection happens to go down (We're on Comcast, what can I say?), the clock makes no attempt to reconnect, but will continue displaying time and last known temperature. Ask it anything in this state and she'll interrupt you with "Sorry, I couldn't connect..." and won't hear any of your protestations. You have to yank the power and reboot. Annoying! But overall, I do like this device, even with its small flaws.

I got this on sale because I needed a bedside clock and it is handy for that. I did learn that I can have it turn down the display brightness automatically at night time via the app, otherwise the screen is too bright at the "default" setting. The temperature and weather display are nice to see as you wake up too. I don't really use the voice assistance too much and I don't use the alarm either, so for a basic bedside clock it's perfect for me. (I am concerned about the segments of the display not working after a year or so, as mentioned by others that have owned this clock. Time will tell).

I needed something simple for when I had my baby and needed to time feeds. But this clock literally has grown with my family. I love using the hey google feature.

Great clock, has a decent speaker and solid reliabilty for using "hey google" function. If you want just the assisant go with the nest mini instead as the speaker is slightly better. Would be easier to program with an app. Display brightness can go to 0% for those of us who put this on a nightstand. Nightlight function is a nice bonus for those that put this in a kids room or bathroom.

For the price (on sale) it's a nice little google device. Sound is decent and setup is the standard google app. This is our second Lenovo google device and while decent are not as good as the Google products. Our google hub max is twice the price of our Lenovo 7" counter display but its a much better unit. For a desk or nightstand alarm clock with google assistant at this price point, this little guy is hard to beat.

I love the clear uncluttered display. It also pairs easily with my phone and the sound is great.

Excellent little clock. Anything short of just a clock. Some of the functions that i use. Well the alarm is one feature, works great. The night lite, just tell it to turn on and how bright. Tell it to adjust my nest thermostat. Get morning news reports while im getting ready for work. Play some music. I got this clock during xmas time for $25. Liked it so much i went back and bought 2 more for my other bed rooms. I really enjoy this little clock.

Bought this for my wife. She uses it mainly as an alarm clock, but likes the Google smart functions as well. It is quite small and does not take up much space, but the display is large enough to be easily seen. The display brightness can be dimmed for better sleeping at night and increased during the day for improved visibility. The unit also has a select-able nightlight function. It cannot display video content like the Google Nest Hub Smart displays,

This is a really affordable product and it allows anyone to be able to quickly add additional devices to the Google Assistant system. The device is simple and modern by design. I just wished that there's some way to customize how the time is displayed and whatnot. I feel like the microphone doesn't pick up commands as easily as other Google Assistant devices, but this is super affordable.

Lenovo Smart Clock. The speaker sounds loud for its size. Listening to music is great. The display is amazing I know because I can see it without my glasses. Its a large and bright display that can be see with and without light in the room. It sounds much better that a google mini. It's small in size. I recommend it you'll get your money's worth.

Purhcased many of these bundles with GE smart light bulbs. Great value! Highly recommend picking up if able to find for a great price. Works great and easy to set up. Shows time, Date, and weather. Very convenient to glance and get weather. Google assistant very responsive. Speakers are usable for some music. No bass, but still sounds decent for soft music. Highly recommended

A wonderful alarm clock and speaker to help a teenager get up in the morning.

Really a nice little alarm clock, the speaker is enough for something that size, and it's got a cute little night light, "Hey Google turn on the night light" and it's brightness adjustable! Works really well, easy to manage alarms in the Google home app. Love it overall!

The perfect clock I was tired of the standard digital clock that had red numbers too bright for me So I said why no a google clock I all ready have a google mini and other google devices I love that it tells the weather and also has a night light and also dims and adjust to the light in your room

This device provides the same features as google home mini (1st gen) with the exception of a simple led display indicating time, alarm status, temperature, and weather condition icon. Microphones do a great job picking up commands and listening when continued conversation is turned on. The built in nightlight (at the back of the device) is a great underrated feature that provides subtle light which can be dimmed and brightened on command. I appreciate the auto-dimming display so that the screen is not too bright in a dark room. One thing that I found annoying was the need to first activate the device outside of the google home app before being able to add it to your home. Minor inconvenience that adds an additional setup step, but easy enough to follow. Speaker quality is good, although you should not expect booming bass. While I don't believe this total package is valued correctly at full price, when it's on sale ~$30 it's a great buy.
