One bit of advice, if you're one of those people you tend to keep some of the plastic protective covering on electronics...DO NOT do it with the screen protector that comes with this clock!! After a couple of days of leaving it on, and struggling with the fact that the Google Assistant "couldn't hear as well" as our other devices, I took it off and realized I was covering 2 very good microphones!!!

For a crisp, color, 4" touch display we recommend the Lenovo Smart Clock with Google Assistant. The Lenovo Smart Clock Essential is meant to be a more slimmed down version with only the essential features.

I had & stiil have the older, colorized version that works well enough & which still like I like. You can whether questions which it typically accessed Wikipedia for the very quick answers. The only real drawback is that it is Google linked & i hate Google.
