Love these little things. Easy to setup, sets an alarm by voice command & shows the temperature outside. It's everything the alarm clock offers + everything Nest Home offers. I have replace all alarm clocks in my house with these.

A simple clock with a great look and has a built in Google assistant is a must have. Has the look of an old school clock but some new age features like the Google assistant, night light, auto dimming screen, and a decent sounding speaker for the price. This clock is my favorite device with an assistant built in.

Review after 2 weeks of usage - Excellent combination of bluetooth speaker, watch and voice assistant capabilities. Can see it from distance OR in the dark too. It became go to bluetooth speaker for daily needs. Does not take much space on the desk and nice addition for the work from home needs. Routines are nice as per time of the day like morning and night. Bluetooth speaker is nice, sound quality is good for the price. Home app could be a little more user friendly with concept of Home and adding devices etc. Overall ok to setup with instructions given. Unfortuantely had to take 1pt for some of the below features would have loved to see. 1. In addition to the Day and time, watch should have shown DATE and time also to get a better calendar feel. 2. Clock face could have been customizable. 3. would have been nice to have a soft ring after every hr. 4. Start and stop watch functionality - Not sure if it has that. Overall nice looking product with excellent features at great price point! Recommended.!

This is a simple digital clock with Google assistant. I look at this clock every single day for the time and weather since the day I bought it. I do not use Google assistant because I do not need to, so I turn the voice command button on the back OFF. The purpose of me buying this clock was so if I woke up in the middle of the night I did not have to look at my phone. the brightness of the display auto adjusts to the surrounding light, so at night it is comfortably dim. Downside: only works on wifi, the entire device requires wifi and google phone app... so No WiFi= No time display!! I will keep the review at 5 stars, though because it does what I wanted it to as long as I have wifi. And I got it on a great sale for $7 or free I cannot remember it has been more than a year :)

I wanted a Google smart speaker for a while, but thought the home mini was a bit expensive for being just a speaker and not having a lot of other functionalities so I've been putting it on the back log. Recently I wanted to get a digital alarm clock for my bedroom. When I was looking around for Black Friday deals on Best Buy, I found this product and it was both things I wanted in one for $25 so I got it immediately. Happy to say that this was a really good buy. The device was easy to set up and I have had no problems with connections or anything so far. The speaker is surprisingly loud and has a bit of bass to it (though not much). My room is relatively small so I've only ever needed the volume to be on low & it still sounds loud and clear. All in all, really great product that perfectly fits my need. There's the other Lenovo Smart Clock that has more bells and whistles that I was also considering, but I think this is still the better buy if you don't see yourself needing to interact with the device much outside of voice commands and alarm settings.

Simple, basic clock display, that sets it self and stays accurate via wifi, is what I wanted for my tv stand in my living room. (you can't seem to buy those old "atomic" clocks anymore). First thing i notice, the screen it self, is blurry. Not at all sharp and sleek as the pictures show, or how other "stick-led" clocks are. There is a led glow bleed affect around the sticks. The plastic of the whole screen, is super easy to scratch, even when i wiped it off with eye glass cleaner and a microfiber cloth, thinking it was smugged from the packing film that was on it, there were a few long light scratches in it afterward. How do you dim the LED clock display??? It is too bright. I read conflicting reviews saying u can dim it, or that it auto dims based on ambient light level, which, I can not get it to do either. It is always bright. I have tried the voice commands "dim display, set display to 1%...etc. and it says "Sorry, something when wrong". Would also like to turn off the display by command. The "night light", the led ring on the back, u can turn on by holding down vol down button, or via voice command. But be careful if you have any other devices with the word light in the name, as saying "turn on the night light" results in all my lights, and also anything named "night light" to turn on. You can dim the units night light, same as any light, 1 to 100. It gets super dim, but is not that bright at max, but I would say brighter than your typical LED plug in night light. Speaker quality, well, it is better than the Google Mini (the 1st gen Google speaker), but the Nest Mini (Googles 2nd gen speaker) is better sounding, But if u just want simple sounds, maybe some ambient mood music, and don't care about any kinda of quality, it is sufficient. I also wish it displayed the ambient indoor temp, meaning it would use a internal temperature sensor, like my other dumb clock does, but this one displays the outside temp, I assume it gets from Googles servers, based on whatever location it thinks you are at. Overall, the dull/blurry display, and no ability to dim the clock, makes it a sub-par device. ~$10 clocks i see at places are far more sleek and sharper a led display. I would say this Lenovo clock should be priced at $29.99 max.

This is the perfect clock, exactly what I wanted. It lives on my fireplace mantle in the Great Room, small and unobtrusive but displays the time clearly. Google Assistant is great! Note that it is not cordless. That works fine for me. Very happy with the Lenovo Smart Clock Essential!

I have been waiting for a smart clock like this for a while now. It's a simple display with only the time and weather as well as a few indicators for the assistant/alarms/etc. I never wanted something that had a "screen" by my bedside, but did want an assistant enabled clock. This is perfect in its simplicity. The brightness is adaptive to the level of light in the room so it get's dimmer at night and brighter during the day or if the lights are on. If you are very sensitive to light while sleeping this may still be too bright, but it is nothing like having a lit screen. One of the best features that I appreciate is the night light that triggers with the alarm. It's not as bright as what I'd assume daylight alarm clocks are but the light certainly makes a difference if you wake up before sunrise. Great clock, in my opinion. Only negative is that 4 digits are always displayed for the time, so there will always be a 0 before any single digit hr. This is minor, however, and you get used to it.

It’s great for what it is. Price is good and having a smart speaker in the room is a good bonus. We have always had an echo in other parts of the house and compared to Alexa, the Google assistant is a little slow, but overall it’s a good value.

Purchased this to replace an aging Insignia clock/speaker with integrated Google. While the sound is not nearly as rich as other speakers, this clock has a lot of great features. The device itself is very small, much smaller than it looks in the pictures; the clock display (and exterior temperature display) are very large, visible to me across a 12' room without my glasses on. That's very beneficial for the location I have placed this device. Aside from rather flat bass and a little bit of echoing, the sounds is relatively good. I was amazed at how much faster the Google Assistant is on this compared to a four or five year old smart speaker. One new feature, at least one I have never noticed before - is the ability to increase or decrease the speaker's sensitivity to the wake up work/phrase. This is highly beneficial in a home with several other Google Assistant devices.

I got this clock as part of a bundle with a four pack of C by GE smart bulbs for an excellent price. I swapped out the Google Home Mini in my bedroom with this clock. In terms of functionality, it performs pretty much the same. You get a display and a little night light, which are nice to have. I took off one star for setup. If you have a single Wi-Fi network like most others out there, it should be a easy-peasy to set up. Unfortunately, I was trying to put this on a separate Wi-Fi network that I use for IoT devices, and I got an error about making sure I'm on the same Wi-Fi network and to check on AP isolation. It still ended up working, but casting from my phone and seeing all available settings in the Google Home app remains iffy. It's all good though. Unsure why I never got this issue when setting up my Google Home Mini.

My daughter loves this clock. It is easy to use once set up. (Set up was a little challenging for me.) She is able to set alarms on her own and play music and audiobooks. It has a nice display and some neat features in addition to showing the time.

I love my smart clock. I like the fact that I can talk to it and set alarms and deactivate alarms. I can have it play sounds to help me sleep or play music. I would never go back to a regular clock again.

It's like a Google Home Mini with a clock and night light function. Works great. Like the retro look. The speaker, while not high fidelity for music is loud and clear. The display auto dims and the brightness can be set manually. Recommended.

For the price you can't beat these. Sound is a little crisper than the older Insignia smart clocks I have. Not a ton of bass but the high notes are clear. For the size and price I can't complain. Integrated with Google Home seamlessly.

Love this smart clock. Display dims for night use. Great alarm clock with google at the helm if you need to ask it a question. Cool night light built on back as well, which has multiple brightness levels or can be shut off.

This is an enjoyable device to use, brightness can be changed by voice and by timer, you can reduce it @ night. Response to speech is good (make sure to remove the screen cover before use). The speaker is good for what it is, music @ low or medium volume and voice response. It's quite small but easily visible across the room. I got it on sale for $30, well worth that price. You can tap the top of the device to snooze the alarm, which is handy. It would be nice if they made this exact device with Alexa - they have one but it lacks a features this one has - leading 0 in 24 hour time. No camera and a mic on/off switch so no privacy concerns.

I like the auto dim shows the temperature on the front makes a nice nite light the goggle voice is fine don't use that very much i got on sale for 24$ i would get it just for the alarm clock at that price it's very nice.

It is a digital clock that offers Google Assistant. The nightlight and the sunrise alarm are nice touches. It sounds great for its size and it offers all of the features I expect from a Google Assistant smart speaker.

I have been looking for both wall clocks or simple alarm clocks to put in the living room and guest bedroom, and finally came across this clock. It was on sale, which made it sweeter, and I took a chance on it to finally be able to tell the time in rooms that had no clock. Overall build quality is good and the display is easy to read. Setup was fairly simple using the Google Home app and I was up and running in just a few short minutes. It's handy to be able to tell the time and also have a Google speaker built into it as well. It works well and it is handy to have a nightlight built into the rear of the clock as well. I wish that the Home app would allow me to custom dim the brightness of the display, but otherwise this has been a solid addition to my home!
