I cut the TV cable and needed a small clock

I cut the cable cord (and box) and, of course, lost the clock on that box, since I went all streaming. This is the perfect replacement for that and it connects to my network to keep perfect time. I don't really use any of the other features. It was also on sale for around $20--how could I lose?

Simple Smart Clock

It works well enough. We already have another Lenovo smart clock that is more premium, so we put this one in the TV room for the kids. When we put a time limit on their video games we just tell the clock to set an alarm telling the kids to stop playing. The weather info on the display is a nice feature. Was easy to set up with Google Home.

I replaced my google home mini with this so I could have a visible clock. Put the mini in the kitchen. Sometimes it seems like it doesn’t pick up my voice as clear as the mini but the other features it offers make up for it. Great price. I can’t comment on the sound much as if I use it for music I will often have it connect through Bluetooth to my sound bar.

Please ensure you have removed the plastic film that is on the screen to protect the unit during shipping. If the issue persists, it is possible setting up voice match and raising the "okay google" sensitivity will help with this. to setup voice match please open the Google Home app.
At the top right, tap your account.
Verify that the Google Account shown is the one linked to your speaker or display. To switch accounts, tap another account or Add another account.
Tap Assistant settings Voice Match Add devices.
Make sure any devices you want to link your voice to are checked.
Tap Next I agree.
Follow the in-app steps.
To adjust the sensitivity of the mic please open the Google Home app .
At the bottom, tap Home .
Select your speaker or Smart Display.
At the top right, tap Device settings. ...
Choose how sensitive you want Google Assistant to be when it responds to you. If you need further assistance please don't hesitate to reach out to Lenovo Tech Support at 866-426-0911

This is my first Google smart device as I normally buy Amazon Alexa products. I have noticed that Google seems a bit more responsive and that is somewhat surprising, it may lead to me buying more in the future or at least one more to see if this is normal. I found this on a great deal of the day with some GE smart bulbs in a great deal.
