LCD screen wearing out

Now, two years later, the last digit in the time is messed up. It doesn't display 0, 8, and 3 properly. I've never seen an LCD display do this, even stuff from the early 80s.

No more pushing buttons and frustrations when my finger slipped. This is a great clock and I am never going back to an alarm clock without the ability to set it using my voice.

Volume is good but sound quality is as expected to do it's main job - to wake you up in the morning. All this should make one a little nervous since it is always active and no one really knows what data is fed back to its mothership in Mountain View and beyond ...
