The only knock on it is the quality of the speaker. It's a bit quiet and doesn't sound very good. However, that's not something to not buy this item about, it's just a fact of what it is and the size of the item. It's otherwise super easy, affordable, and great for what it does. I love the temperature indicator.

To do this please open the Google Home App on your Smartphone or tablet-->Smart Clock Essential--> Select the three bars with lines through them at the top of the screen on the right. No more pushing buttons and frustrations when my finger slipped. This is a great clock and I am never going back to an alarm clock without the ability to set it using my voice.

An okay alarm clock

I like the clock although there are a few things that I wish were different: 1) that I could dim the display more, 2) that the night light would not turn on when the alarm goes off, 3) that the time would not have the leading '0' displayed. These are not show stoppers but would decrease the value that I would pay for the clock.

You can adjust the screen brightness from off to 100% bright by saying "Okay Google Screen brightness" and then a number between 0-100%. Once it's set up it's a nice device

The night light and smart control functionality is nice to have. However, it was a pain to set up using Google Home and I wish it would link with my phone's alarms to make it easier to set schedules.

Volume is good but sound quality is as expected to do it's main job - to wake you up in the morning. All this should make one a little nervous since it is always active and no one really knows what data is fed back to its mothership in Mountain View and beyond ...
