Best clock that I have ever owned! Love that it gives you the temperature and weather conditions. Also, love the Google features. Owned it over a year! Ordering 1 for my Mom!

I jumped on this clock because of the rave reviews online. In all honesty, I didn't do my usual due diligence of shopping for other smart clocks because this one appealed to me immediately because of its classic look, all the while being a smart device. The drawbacks for me are enough that they take away from the value & functionality of the product. 1) The first MAJOR drawback is that you're stuck with one ringtone. I imagined that because the clock was linked to my phone's Google Assistant, that it would use my Pixel's alarm settings, which has 14 ringtones, but alas it does not. I am stuck with one ringtone. This seems like a simple enough function to be able to include. I was trying to look through the source code to see if it's as simple as importing an .mp3 file, but I didn't want to spend more time on it than necessary. There is a Play button on top, that doesn't really do anything for the alarm clock functions that could be used to toggle between ringtones. 2) The display dims automatically thanks to a sensor, but I wish that I could dim it one more level. I am a light sleeper and I can't stand super bright LED lights next to my bed. It bugged me so much that I stuck a yellow sticky note over it to lessen the brightness of the clock display. I chose the Essential clock over the Smart Clock, simply because the Smart Clock is an entire LED display (too bright), while the Essential only illuminates the numbers. 3) The third drawback is that the snooze 'pad' on top is not very sensitive and I find myself tapping the top vigorously to get it to snooze. 4) The fourth drawback is that the microphone does not pick up my voice, even when I am two feet away from the clock, it has difficulty understanding my voice commands. Overall, it's a nice looking alarm clock with a small footprint, but the major drawback of the ringtone really bums me out. It was on sale for $25 and I already threw away the box, so I am stuck with it for now, at least until I find another clock that is more customizable or Lenovo/Google pushes a simple update for ringtones to go thru. Hope this helps others!

Nice gadget, good sound. The only issue I have with this clock is the fact that I have to speak really loud for it to listen, which I do not particularly enjoy early in the morning when I try to stop the alarm.

I like the light behind this clock. The sound is not very loud but it is enough for me in my bed room. I like this and it meets my needs. If you want loud sound a different device will be better

Clock is great, only complaint is that I couldn’t sync my son’s Apple Music account to his Google home app. When I spoke to Google, they said it was because only the Primary account on a family a count can link the app.

Display is good and the Google assistant works good. Speaker sounds okay. Connects easy and works good with Pandora. The price is very good, most regular clocks are this price.

It's a clock with a Google assistant speaker embedded in it. You cannot manage the clock or alarms through Google Home. Alarms can only be set like a regular alarm clock (using the physical buttons).

I love this alarm clock! Small and looks nice on the night stand. Does just what I want it to do and I never have to touch a button. The light sensor is a great feature for sure. Highly recommend!

Alarm clock is nice but I could not figure out how to turn off the alarm quickly without using my voice. It was going off after I left for work even. Is nice for some who wants to have everything "smart" in their house.

Great clock. I have three of these. Easy to connect with my Google home account and with my YouTube music account. Great time and weather display. And there's a volume control on the device as well. Would recommend to anyone!

I'm a Google fan boy. Have numerous minis scattered around the house. One draw back, they don't have a time display. So I tried this instead. The time and weather are very useful at a glance now. But the audio of this compared to the Google mini is disappointing. It works well otherwise. Just doesn't have as good of sound as what I had in the room. Granted, they arent meant for jamming loud tunes. But the mini held it's own nicely. This thing, not so much. No bass.

I have a couple of these. They work really well as clocks, and Google home devices. It declutters the bed table and desk quite well. having a USB port on the back is a nice feature.

This is a great watch. Some of the downsides are that it sometimes picks up commands from the noises coming from my devices by accident. And I'm not sure about how to adjust the brightness on it.

This reminds me of a traditional alarm clock but with the added bonuses of auto-brightness adjustments, google mini built in, and a nightlight! Great for kids who won’t get lost in the menus of the regular smart clock.

I purchased this for a relative to get them started on automating their home and controls. It was a bit of a learning curve for someone new to smart devices but she caught on

It has served me really well. Only issue I have sometimes is its bluetooth stops working correctly sometimes, so I have to replug the clock to get it to work right again.

Its amazing for the price does all you need it to do and more smart home device connectivity can be a little tricky for people that have difficulty understanding technology but set up is more than straightforward

Great little clock that can also play your music, radio stations, answer all your questions, control the smart tech in your home, tell you the weather and just about everything for a great price

It's a pretty good clock/assistant but it doesn't support wpa3 security. The crazy thing is, I haven't been able to find anything online specifying what google assistants do support wpa3. I replaced my insignia smart clock from years ago with this one because the insignia wouldn't work with wpa3. Unfortunately, this one doesn't either and I can't seem to find devices that specify whether they work with it or not. Good thing this was on sale.

I love this clock it's just the right size and volume is good. This was my 1st smart purchase and I'm very glad i got it on sale.
