Turning the alarm off can be difficult sometimes as far as which button to press especially when it’s 6 am and trying to wonder if you pressed the right button to shut the alarm off. Other than that it makes for a decent clock for just seeing the time and the weather feature is a plus.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Smart Clock Essential. You can turn on/off the nightlight and adjust the brightness with your voice. Once the alarm starts sounding, you can smack the top or give a voice command to snooze. You can also simply say "stop" without the usually necessary wake words ("Hey, Google," or, "OK, Google") to shut it off. You can turn off the night light and alarm clock after the alarm sounds. Use the Google Home app to manage your device. Through the app, you can modify your Google Assistant settings including your personal information, your media service preferences, and your connected smart home devices.

You can adjust the sound of the speaker by opening the Google Home App on your Smart Phone of Tablet. Selecting the Smart Clock Essential, and then selecting the three bars with a line through them at the top of the menu. This will open up an equalizer allowing you to manually adjust the Bass and Treble. You may also pair your Smart Clock with any other cast enabled smart speaker you may have for full room, or whole home audio. You can fine tune the audio of your Smart Clock essential by opening its settings in the Google Home App on your Smart Phone or Tablet and selecting the three lines at the top of the menu. You now have access to advanced tuning for bass and treble. The Smart Clock Essential is Cast enabled meaning you can group it with any Cast enabled speaker you may have for full room or whole home audio.
