Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Smart Clock Essential. The dimensions of the Smart Clock Essential are: (W x H x D) - 4.8 x 2.5 x 3.3 inches. The Smart Clock Essential is equipped with a controllable LED light-bar on its backside. You turn on the nightlight by pressing and holding the volume-down button (the volume controls require multiple short presses to function). The light-bar puts out 31 lumens at maximum brightness, but you can adjust it on a scale of 0 to 100 with a voice command: “Hey Google, set the nightlight to 50,” for example. You can use a similar command to adjust the brightness of the Essential’s display.

Good for the Price

Numbers can be a little bright at night. Weather is clearly displayed. Volume for relaxing night sounds is a little too low. Basic smart clock with google smartphone features for a low price! I have three stars because this is good for the price but I like the options available in the other model better.

Posted .Hello, thanks for choosing the Lenovo Smart Clock Essential. To lower the brightness of the screen try saying "Okay Google Screen brightness 1%. You can raise or lower the volume of the speaker by pressing the volume up or down buttons on the top of the Smart Clock or by saying "Okay Google Volume up, or 50%, or a number 1-10". If you have routine setup to play relaxing sounds when you go to sleep you can adjust the volume the sounds start playing at in the Google Home App under your Routine settings.
