I love having all my calendar updates, alarms, and times on one simple, easy-to-use device while not being handcuffed to a computer or cell phone! The only downside- the sense that "someone " is ALWAYS listening!

I was upset that the salesperson lies to me about the interface. I was under the impression it would be exactly like the UI on tiny Nest Hub Max. But the interface is slightly different. I still love it! But wish it had the same quick shortcut to access all devices in your home as Nest devices.

Great bedroom clock and speaker

Much nicer than having the larger Google Home. Plus when I roll over in bed, the display senses movement and slightly increases the brightness to make it easier to see the clock - not too bright that it would be jarring. For the price, can't beat it.

Simple smart clock

There is a learning curve to the clock. it is not as user-friendly as you would expect it to be. After watching a couple videos, I got used to how it works. After that it's fine.

It handles his special light bulbs that change colors, among other things. The only issue he ran into was that it doesn't really work on college networks, so he can only use it at home.

May we suggest when he tries to connect it to his college network that he perform a factory reset on the device and set it up again like it was new. You can perform a factory reset by holding down the “Volume + and – ” buttons on top of your device for 8 Seconds.

They're no Alexa, but still pretty good. If you're going to buy 2 or more of these, just know that Google WILL pick up your voice on ALL the devices at once. Makes things a bit difficult to manage. Be sure you have them in different rooms.

Quality product that is easy to set up and has a great deal of information that it can provide. Easy to setup and accurate. It will even tell you a bedtime story if you wish!

Gift for my daughter

I bought it for my daughter as an alarm clock, and she loves not having to get up to turn off the alarm every morning. Unfortunately, I will have to occasionally wake her up because she goes back to sleep. More work for me some mornings. LOL

You can broadcast a message to her Smart Clock in the morning form your phone with the Google Assistant App or from any Google Assistant device. For Example "Time to wake up!". You can even set family bells which will ring and read text like "Time to Wake Up" while playing a bell sound.

I also love that it gives you the possibility of changing the background and themes. Probably my favorite feature is the ability to cast audio to the clock. Incredible buy, especially when it's on sale!

(Is there a way to tell the machine to turn in a station for an hour and turn off?) After a while with some help from online answers I figured it out. Some of the clock faces just don't work well but I like the analog face a lot.
