It allows them to control smart lights and get information, and listen to music. For myself, I prefer at least a 7” smart display, but this is perfect for many other secondary locations.

I have to unplug it all the time to reset. If it wasn’t for that, it’d be 5 star.

I had gotten it when it was on sale and at the price it was at was very much worth it. I like it a lot and will continue to use it.

I also took the 2 yr warranty through Best Buy. Best purchase I have made. Love the USB connector on back for my phone. I love that I can have the screen turn completely off and just tap the top to stop the alarm. Only thing I would add to it would be more customization options maybe in an app and the ability to cast video to it.

I bought these for my kids to replace their alarm clocks and they love them. The only thing is that they wouldn't do the voice recognition on my Google Home for my kids. Other than that, they're great.

The only issues I had were the alarm not fading up correctly and it taking over when I want my phone to perform the duty. The alarm initially plays loudly for it's first chime, then goes into the fade up mode.

Regarding the alarm this appears to be an issue with certain alarm sounds. While we work on a fix we recommend changing the stock alarm tone or using a music alarm. Try the "Beautiful mind alarm tone". If you prefer your current alarm tone another work around is to set the alarm/timer volume lower so that it doesn't startle you but will still increase in loudness enough to wake you up. Online search seems to suggest the combination of our doorbell and this clock are a difficult mixture.

However the volume is low and have not been able to increase it for the alarm. Definitely used to the old school alarm clocks so it takes some getting used to.
