I feel like it is a good idea poorly executed. No easy way to snooze, little buttons next to each other say 'snooze' or 'stop'. My daughter always ends up hitting stop. Backgrounds and clock styles are very limited. It won't support casting video...don't know why. Doesn't need to be a HD display to see a snapshot or you tube video. Display could be a little bigger, too. Overall disappointed. Wish Lenovo would have done better with this.

Posted .I'm sorry to hear you are disappointed in the device. I can offer some assistance to some of your points mentioned. For the "snooze" function, you can press the button on the display, or you also snooze by verbal command. Simply say "Hey Google, snooze for 5 minutes", or whatever amount of time you'd like, and it will set to that. As for size, we designed the Lenovo Smart Clock to be a compact smart home device for the nightstand. The 4" IPS Display allows you to have the Google Assistant at your voice command, without invading your nightstand and becoming a distraction. While it does not have ability to play YouTube or other video streaming services, you can use it for live feeds of home cameras and access your Google Photos. You can even use your personal photos as backgrounds. You can learn more about photos here.

It is possible setting up voice match and lowering the "okay google" sensitivity will help with this. Here is a link for instructions with voice match Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
At the top right, tap your account.
Verify that the Google Account shown is the one linked to your speaker or display. To switch accounts, tap another account or Add another account.
Tap Assistant settings Voice Match Add devices.
Make sure any devices you want to link your voice to are checked.
Tap Next I agree.
Follow the in-app steps.
To adjust the sensitivity of the mic please open the Google Home app .
At the bottom, tap Home .
Select your speaker or Smart Display.
At the top right, tap Device settings. ...
Choose how sensitive you want Google Assistant to be when it responds to you.
If you'd like some privacy you can also switch the mic off on the back if your Smart Clock =)

In this sense if you upload your own playlist of personal sounds or tones you can stream them as your alarm in the morning by saying "Okay Google Set a Music alarm."
