More convenient than using your phone and much more capable than a traditional alarm clock. Can also function as a white noise generator or a radio using any app that supports casting.

I was looking for a google mini to purchase but I found this during christmas for only $30, I purchases it and it has a loud alarm which is great and works as a regular google mini.

Great clock for the price, and love the display and weather.

Not a full-featured smart display, but it does what it claims. Screen resolution is low, and it won't play videos or display search results. Basically, the screen can only be used to display a clock, weather, and whatever audio track information is available for the music it is playing. Lenovo claims it can display surveillance video, but I have not tried this. As an alarm clock and Google assistant, it does a fair job. The built-in speaker is about the same as a Google mini, and has all the same functionality. In fact, the mini can also be used as an alarm, though it lacks the display. My only real complaint is the lack of options for the alarm sound. You have a few built-in alarm options, with not way to add others. Assistant allows you to play a routine with whatever music or podcast you choose, but the available alarms sounds onscreen are very limited. In all, it's a good alarm clock that can do the "smart stuff" you expect from Google Assistant. The "Essential" version of this clock has a simpler screen, but all the same functionality. Given the chance, I would probably have purchased the Essential version, instead. With the limited functionality of the screen, you don't lose much with a more basic display. I would recommend this to a friend... If the Essential model didn't exist.

I purchased this little device since my 20+ year old Red digital display alarm clock finally gave up the ghost. We have other Google assistants in the house so this made a lot of sense to have. It dims just enough so you can sleep well at night, you can listen to music and in the morning it’ll tall you the weather, the latest headlines and the traffic to your work. I really like it and would recommend it to others.

I can walk into my house and have this little Lenovo will when asked will turn on my tv and lights. Or play music, or set up all my appointments, weather. I can walk in and say "hey google I'm Home" and really get things going. Add the app google home to your cell watch what happens next. Great personal assistant for all the reminders you can set up that I keep forgetting at home, etc. Thanks Lenovo !!!!

I really like the smart clock. I just Gert all the news, weather report etc every day just talking and asking for it. Small enough for the night stand and very nice time display

Ease to use, especially with Google Assistant! Similar to the mini functions.

Excellent clock, great display and google assistant all around. Removing one star for 2 things -when you ask the weather sometimes it only displays it rather than telling me. Also, screen tends to light up at night sometimes. Probably can fix with a do not disturb mode, but it's a little annoying. Apart from that, well worth the price

Been waiting for this clock to come out. It's a no frills google alarm clock that does exactly what it says it's going to do. I love it!

Lenovo - Smart Clock is very good as a clock and even gives you more such as wake up sunrise effect. It also has Google Assistant built-in so you can use it effectively by your bedside or on desk. I like that it gives you a USB port to charge your phones. I took 1 star because of the size and the brightness when in dark, otherwise it is a great product.
