Bought this for my in-laws. They love it. Right size, great display, thoughtful voice detect switch.

I don't know how I lived without this alarm clock on my nightstand before I got this. I love streaming music at night and I actually set an alarm (NOT on my phone) and don't fear I will accidentally shut it off vs. snooze. display is great too!

I don't utilize all the smart features, as I do not have a smart home......yet. I like the display and when it dims when darkens in room. Wish it had a battery back-up though. Hard to rely on this for work if the power was to go out.

This little Lenovo clock is AMAZING. First, exactly the right size for a small nightstand. Second, easy to integrate into my Google home. Finally, it seems to pay better attention than any of my other Google Home Mini units...it ALWAYS hears me.

The best clock I have ever owned. You can customize the clock face and it adjusts itself to the lighting conditions. It is a great addition to our other goggle products. The sound quality is wonderful. Absolutely worth the purchase.

Love this little device! Plus, getting it for over half off is a bonus. For the price you cannot find a better clock/smart device. 30 minutes before the alarm goes off it starts to get a little brighter. Then, when the alarm goes off, I can just TELL it to snooze.

I love that I can set this alarm using my voice and on repeat for days I need. Since we have a lot of the other Google products this just fit right in for me. This alarm really helps me since I have memory issues. Now I don’t have to worry about forgetting to set my alarm now!

Bought this clock after seeing my friend had one when house sitting. ITS GREAT! I can use it instead of my phone to control my smart lights, I can use it as my alarm clock, and I cast my sleep music from spotify to help me sleep. It does so much!

The clock display is useful, but it doesn’t make the Smart Clock Essential a smart display. It only shows the time and weather, and unlike the Echo Dot With Clock, it doesn’t display active timers counting down (though you can still use Google Assistant to set timers for you). You don’t get video streaming, video calls, long-term weather reports, or any other visible information besides four digits for the time and two or three for the temperature. For audio streaming, however, the Smart Clock Essential is fully equipped to let you listen to whatever music you want. You can ask Google Assistant to play from YouTube Music, Pandora, SiriusXM, and Spotify, for starters. You can also stream music over Bluetooth, or through Google Cast with any compatible app on your phone. It functions exactly like a Nest Audio or other first-party Google Assistant speaker in this respect.

Great physical design. Software not as flexible as you'd like. Very much a Google mini (a very good one, but still just a mini) with a screen. Does all your expect it to. Great value for the price - was discounted to $40 when bought.

Nice and small, not bulky. Love the adaptive contrast so that at night it blends in and the screen is not too bright, where all you can see is the time without the background. Wish I could mute google assistant when checking the weather.

Nice alarm clock with Google Assistant functionality. It doesn't have as many alarm sound options as I was expecting, but I like being able to create custom music alarms linked to my Spotify account. The speaker is decent for its size.

Kids liked it. Have to connect online. Works as advertised for tech savvy people.

I find that for its size it accomplishes one of goals that I had in mind, portability. A space saver.

Small, but great alarm clock. I was previously using a Google smart hub as my alarm clock but it was too big for my night stand. This little guy was perfect... And does nearly everything the hub did.

So convenient! We are able to control the lights in our bedroom by just talking to it. No more arguing about who’s turn it is to get up and turn off the lights. The alarm is also great and your able to adjust the volume.
