Great smart clock home addition

Love the Google Home integration and voice control even though both my phone and smart clock answer but that's inevitable. Love that it can take my photos from Google Photos and make them shuffle for random wallpapers, can adjust brightness, different clock appearances, weather, and Spotify integration with the built in speaker. I wish it could play YouTube videos but that's not even a negative. Got it on sale so it was an even better buy. Worth every penny in my opinion.

It is possible that performing a reset and re-linking your services to your Google Account will fix this issue. To get started please power cycle the device by unplugging it for 1-2 minutes. Plugging it back in and allowing it to power on. If the issue remains please perform a factory reset by holding down the “Volume + and – ” buttons on top of your device for 8 Seconds. When prompted during the setup process select unlink, and then re-link your streaming service of choice, You can also do this after setup in your Google Home App. Here is a link from the Google Support page with more detailed instructions https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7551876?co=GENIE.Platform%3DAndroid&hl=en . You can stream music and the speaker is decent. Not great but decent. The USB charging port is the older slower charge but sufficient to charge any device overnight. As google assistant is enhanced, this little device will probably become more useful. The build is solid and looks like it could last for years. It would be nice to have some built-in battery backup in case of power outage. One start dinged for the price. It will sell much faster if it is sold in the $20-30 range.
