Good for what it does. Links quickly and easily to an app on the phone. Performs "Hey Google" commands. It is not linked to other Nest-type devices. My one reason for only four stars is the clock lighting at night. It seems to go to sleep and I cannot figure out how to get a brighter light to see the clock in the dark. But at least it will cheerfully answer when I say "Hey, Google, what time is it."

Posted .Hi there, thanks for choosing the Lenovo Smart Clock with Google Assistant. The ambient light feature will Auto Dim your display in low light settings. You can adjust how much the display dims in low light or tell it to turn off completely. To do this please swipe up on the screen of your Lenovo Smart Clock. Then select the "settings" gear shaped icon on the right. Last select "Display Settings" You can now further adjust the brightness of the screen to your preference.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Smart Clock with Google Assistant. The Smart Clock does not have a web browser installed so it can not display web pages on the screen. You can use the Google Assistant to answer questions you have by using the Voice Command feature of the Smart Clock.

You can change the volume of the alarm tone you are using, within your Google Home APP that you used for the initial setup of your Smart Clock. First, you will need to setup a test alarm for a few minutes way from your current time. This is so you will be able to see the Alarm and Timers settings within the Google Home APP. Once the test alarm sounds, open the Google Home APP for your Smart Clock, with the alarming activated and sounding as normal. Within the Google Home APP, go to settings (the gear icon at the top right of the welcome screen), then select Alarm and Timers from device features menu. Use the volume slider to increase the alarm tone volume while the alarm is sounding, to your personal preference.

Execellent for the money

You’ll need to first download Google Home onto your phone or tablet for the setup process. If you are using the smart clock in a bedroom it will automatically dim when you turn the lights off. Voice recognition was excellent when I tried it and the replies were quick. I have not tried this device with any smart home devices, such as light bulbs. Hope this helps.
