I’ve tried multiple times to connect it to my wifi thermostat and cannot. Have been awakened a few times in the night by the clock loudly saying, “Sorry, cannot perform that operation right now.” Makes me wonder if I’m talking in my sleep? Only happens when I fall asleep with ambient sounds or music playing on the device.

In regards to the clock waking you up at night there are a few things you can try. 1. make sure at night you turn on the "Do Not Disturb Function" You can do this by swiping up on the face of the clock then selecting the circle with the minus "-" symbol. 2. Turn on "Night Mode". To do this open your Google Home app. Scroll down and select your Lenovo Smart Clock. Tap the gear or "settings" icon at the top. Select "Night Mode". Now you can adjust the min/max volume of the assistant and brightness of the screen between the hours of your choice on the days of the week of your choice. In regards to your smart thermostat the Lenovo Smart Clock with Google assistant works with any smart home device that carries the "Works with Google Assistant" Badge. If your thermostat is compatible and you are still having issues getting your Lenovo Smart Clock to control it please reach out to our customer support team at 866-426-0911

I wanted to love it really I did. But it kept disconnecting from my wifi signal, and it cannot even clock without wifi. The speaker and everything else is great. But it cannot do anything without wifi - and I have a good signal!

Posted .We are sorry to hear you are experiencing WIFI connectivity issues with your Lenovo Smart Clock with Google Assistant. We recommend switching between 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz bands of your router. In some instances overlap from other wireless devices can cause this issue. To do this please ensure your device is within good range of your router. Then please perform a factory reset on the device by holding down the “Volume + and – ” buttons on top of your device for 8 Seconds. During setup please select a different band *Either 2.4 Ghz or 5 Ghz when connecting to your WiFi Network. Lastly please reset your model and router by powering them down for 20 seconds then back on again. If the issue persists, please contact our customer support team at 866-426-0911

If you have a nest doorbell, when someone rings the bell, they show up on the screen. You can also ask the assistant to show you the front door. Great gadget to have bed side. You can also charge your cell phone with it. Of coarse, it plays music and answers questions. A few functions don't seem to work correctly OR I don't know how to work them. Well worth the money "when on sale".

Great Google Assistant

For the most part it works great, but there's one small issue--when I use Spotify on it, I can't stream Google's white noise tracks for more than a few minutes. This issue can be resolved by restarting the clock, but it's a bit of an inconvenience. However, this is a pretty solid device to have in the bedroom to control smart home devices. I would recommend it to others.

It offers full Google Home functionality, several display options for the clock face, automatic dimming of the display, and a USB port on the back (which I use for charging my phone). Very happy with this device.
