You can also set a music alarms, podcasts, radio and more. To set a music alarm start by saying "Okay Google set a music alarm" From there your Google Assistant will ask you what time and what station you would like to play. You can respond by saying something like "8am" and "Play my favorite station from Pandora"

It is extremely simple to set alarms and timers and the Google assistant controls all of my connected home accessories. There are a ton of options for the display and ambient settings.

Nice to be able to turn light on and off and listen to music and podcasts on demand. Paired another google home mini for twice the sound in my guest room.

Power has gone out and it reboots with the rest of my google products with the correct time. Speaker is solid for the size of the item. Pretty easy to setup and navigate.

Requires Google Home for Any Use

This one is the best looking clock that I could find. Good color, simple design, clean without decade old looking imprinted screens. Got it for less than full price and then learned about the google home. Not afraid of technology and integration, I just don't prefer having too many smart devices in the bedroom. Covered the microphone wholes in the front and switched off in the back. There is no camera to worry about. Why does a clock need these things? Have had some connection issues, correct time issues and other minor annoyances. Overall it serves its purposes with a small amount of customization but it is still quite expensive and requires Google Home before you can even see a time.

Easy to set alarms and google assistant works as expected. I do some times wish that if the max volume was a little higher, but so far have not missed any alarms.

To adjust the maximum volume of your alarms swipe down from the home screen of your device. Then select "Alarms" then scroll down to the bottom and select the gear or "settings" Icon from the bottom left. You now have access to additional alarm settings including min+max volume.

It does not have a battery back-up so it has to stay connected with the power cord or usb port. The color is pretty bland. I use it primarily for the alarm function and a nice feature is it start very low (as it won't startle you awake) and it gradually gets louder.

Posted .While the Smart Clock does not have a battery back-up, all alarms are saved even in the event of a power outage. So when the power returns, your alarms will sound as expected. Your device also provides lots of great features and functions to be a perfect compact smart home device, aside from just being a standard clock.
