Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased a Lenovo Smart Tab M8 with Google Assistant in November 2020. Have taken good care of it and it's only been lightly used. In March of 2022 I tried to power it on, but it's "hung", meaning it comes on but it won't move past the red Lenovo banner that displays at start up. It won't boot to the operating system or the home screen. Naturally it waited until it was out of warranty to fail. Took it to my local repair spot who said it's in a "boot loop" and the battery has failed. After only a year and a half of light use? Seriously? And the replair place can't repair it because they can't find a replacement battery since it's considered "old" (M8 vs the newer M10) and Lenovo doesn't sell parts for their own devices. Can't get it fixed through Lenovo b/c their service is a minimum cost of $200, which I don't even know if that includes the repair cost or if repair cost is in addition to that. Either way that's twice what I paid for the tablet to start with so I now have a useless brick and won't purchase Lenovo again. Very disappointed.

Not all features work, but I didn't notice until too late to return. The additional sign in for others don't remember them when trying to switch accounts, plus other issues

More bad than good

Doesn't hold charge and once charge drops below 30% the tablet freaks out and it's best to power off until full charge. Never ever Lenovo again. For the price ONN blows these away.
