Starts to Freeze Easily

Posted .This system should be a fast system with its Core I-5 processor, 8GB of RAM and a 256GB solid state hard drive. This system should be able to handle 10 browser tabs open easily. Be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programing errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults.

Perfect for my needs

The part I like best is the pen is part of the computer so I dont have to carry/lose a bulky electronic pen. No issues so far (3 weeks), and I am even adapting to windows 10.

Reverts to tablet and keyboard recesses it self so that keys are not in the way. Machine other than Windows 10 which is a flawed program runs smooth and fast. The solid state drive is the way to go. I am very happy with this purchase

You can do this in the control panel, in the power management category on your system. Select a more conservative power management setting to extend battery life.

Screen stopped working on both I returned

Best computer I have ever owned

Great computer all around

He will be starting college classes and needed a smaller laptop to take with him to school. He also needed something poweful enough to run CAD for robotics. He is very pleased with this laptop.

I love My Laptop

It's very snappy on start-up and it allows me to do my photo editing.

This has anything and everything you could want in a computer. The only thing missing is a blue ray/DVD/cd drive. The thickness of the computer makes it worth it.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 2-14. With regard to a CD/DVD reader-writer, no there is no built in CD/DVD reader-writer within this system, but you can use an external CD/DVD reader-writer by just plugging it in to one of the USB ports on this system.

It was slow, took forever to load, and would freeze. I took it back and exchanged it for the Lenovo. The Lenovo was more expensive but definitely worth it!
