Pros: 1- Very fast in startup (booting) and doing regular jobs such as copying stuff, using for web surfing and moving between the folders. 2- Very good screen resolution compare with my previous old Sony laptop. It has much better screen resolution 3- Good looking laptop from my point of view! Cons: 1-Limited hard drive, only 256 GB. Although I bought it with the knowledge of that, it is really hard to fit all my stuff in it. So, make sure you are fine with it before buying this laptop. 2- Battery doesn't look like extremely great. However, I am usually using the laptop when it is connected to the power, so it is not a big deal for me. Additional points: 1-I easily made the laptop dual boot, so I can have both windows and linux on it. So, it is fine in this regard. 2- Before buying this laptop, I read some negative comments about the hinge of the screens of Lenovo Yoga laptops, when it is changed from laptop to tablet mode. So, I just not tried to use it in this way very often. So, I am not sure how well the laptop is in this regard. Overall I am happy with it.

I bought 2 of these and return one after another. Here's why: The first one is open box which condition was stated "Excellent", the package was very seal and even had some sticker to let me know that it was approved by SOMEONE. Yet, I tried it out and one of the key was working and very sticky, also the screen has light bleed (yellow) on the left bottom corner which is very annoying if you are going to draw in a dark background. The second one was a "GEEK SQUAD Certified". This time the package is not very seal compare to the non certified one. And this item is even worse than the NON-CERTIFIED one! It has no red dome for the Trackpoint and the stylus pen isn't working (I guess something wrong with the capacitor). I thought the "GEEK SQUAD Certified" item supposed to be "thoroughly inspected and all parts are included". Why pay more for nothing? I like the device, I don't like how BB handle with these Open-Box item.

I bought this laptop after reading so many reviews. I saw a few people returning the laptop for some manufacturing defects and I was afraid I might end up with one. Unfortunately, in my case it's the right speaker which makes noise when I play songs. I have no other option than to exchange it with another unit. I hate this process as it makes me suspicious with the new unit as well. I hope Bestbuy makes this process as smooth as possible for me. Apart from this problem, everything else works well. Main highlights of the laptop are keyboard and think pen.

I went through 8 laptops in a months and finally came across this amazing machine, If you're looking for a workhorse of a laptop but don't want to spend 1600 bucks on the mac book pro you really want, well this is it! Just stop looking and buy this machine. I run adobe Photoshop and premiere at the same time working on pretty intensive projects and their is literally no lag at all, its a monster!

Sturdy, touchscreen powered by Wacom works impeccably well. Great if you're looking for an alternative to the regular thinkpad lineup and could use something for artistry.

I purchased my Yoga last month from the Cary NC store. The sales staff was great and so is the machine. After a week I checked the Lenovo warranty and it stated that it would expire in mid December. Being a little confused I called Lenovo since the machine was purchased on February 21st. Lenovo informed me that their warranties start at the time they are shipped to the retailer which was November 3rd.. So buyer beware. You may not get a full year on your warranty.

I purchased this laptop and have been using it for about a month now. It is a solid performer that allows you to multi-task without concern of slowing down applications. The OneLink+ dock is a must for people who are constantly docking and undocking their laptop, and/or those who like to keep their workspace neat and organized. I would recommend this laptop to anyone who has need for an all around great laptop for business use that can stand up under the load.

I've always wanted a REAL ThinkPad. On paper, this is an ideal 2-in-1....in practice it's buggy, laggy, poorly thought out (mostly Win 10) and EXTREMELY frustrating. First off, it's practically useless as a tablet. I don't mind that it's very large and heavy for a tablet....I can get over that. But "tablet mode" doesn't work. The keyboard never pops up when you select text fields in tablet mode. You have to keep it in regular/laptop mode and then manually pull the keyboard up and down for text fields. Just terrible....ability to TYPE is a pretty important part of computing. How did this one get by QC?!?! The display driver issues are annoying, but not that big of a deal. The Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga Skylake model suffers from a ton of small bugs, poor performance, TERRIBLE software (Win 10 should still be in Beta). poor touch screen response, a poorly thought out stylus (can't even sign/edit a pdf without 3rd party software). Honestly, the laptop itself is pretty good, but the SOFTWARE is where most of the problems lie. Windows 10 is just frustrating and has a terrible GUI. I'm going to return this laptop this week and probably buy an older used one with Win 7, or possibly even *shudder* a MacBook (yes, they're overpriced and trendy, but they WORK).

I really wanted to love this computer and everything that it offered spec wise. The performance with the touch screen is better than and comparable to the iPad Pro and Surface Pro, however the Yoga 14 Thinkpad outperformed on touch sensitivity (wacom based drivers) & price. That being said, it completely died yesterday after only owning it for two months. I am hopeful that Best Buy will make good on the one year parts & labor manufacturer warranty. I have another Lenovo (Y50 Touch) laptop that has taken a beating and still runs like brand new, I want to give this computer the opportunity to impress me like the Y50 has. Overall, 1 Star for dying. I would raise that to 4 if my product was simply defective and I have no future problems.

Pros: Dedicated graphics Fast SSD write speeds Great keyboard SD card reader, HDMI, 3 USB 3.0 Decent battery life (7-9 hrs) Upgradeable ram and SSD Active Digitizer Cons: Heavier than others and a little bigger bezels as well No USB C No kaby lake processor This is the best ultrabook for the price hands down. The next gen X1 Yoga with 256GB SSD will probably cost twice this laptop.

A quality machine. I can't get over how fast the solid state drive is. I had to have the Geek Squad install office, not the fault of Lenovo. I can't get used to the keyboard. The little shift button on the right side drives me crazy. I kept my old full size laptop for heavy duty word processing. This machine does fine for traveling as it is light portable and fast.

Couldn't be happier with this purchase. Has the specs and features of a Surface Book at half the price.

Please make sure to check if your package includes the ThinkPad Pen Pro. I ordered on-line and picked up at the local store. The ad says it includes the ThinkPad Pen Pro but it was not found in the package. Does anyone know if it comes inside the package or the pen can be picked up for free?

Excellent 2-in-1computer for daily use, whether multitasking, simple browsing and checking emails, etc. At times it takes a while for the keyboard and touchpad to switch back from tablet mode, which I think can be improved (or made easy in case I am missing something).

I've been using this laptop for a few months at college now, and I have to say it has it all over my MacBook Pro with Retina for a business student. Being able to run Windows programs natively, along with being able to take notes on the screen with the included pen are two of this laptops best features for college. In addition, thinkpads are very durable.

Great notebook at a fair price. You get what you pay for.
