Two computers, two dead motherboards
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this computer in July of 2016. I was very pleased with it until December of 2016 when it suddenly wouldn't start. I sent it back to Lenovo (through Geek Squad) and after several weeks with no follow up from Geek Squad, I called them. I then found out that the motherboard was no good and that Lenovo was replacing my computer. I picked up my new computer 1/17/17. Yesterday, (2/27/17) my replacement laptop began having the same problem. It is now off to Lenovo again - and I'm pretty sure it's the same issue. I am very displeased with this product. I would not recommend.

Had issues within first month
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the laptop and right off the bat noticed that the battery life was TERRIBLE. I decided to stick it through since most of the time i am plugged in, so this isn't an issue. About 2-3 weeks after this, the mouse on the computer stopped working. I have never purchased a new laptop with so many issues. I couldn't even return or exchange the product through Best Buy. Don't buy this computer- do a quick search and you will see all the issues people are having with this. I have owned several thinkpads over the years, and love them, but this one is garbage.

Posted .This is not a common issue. Recommend you bring the device in to your local Best Buy and have the Geek Squad assess the problem and give you options for repairing the problem.

STAY AWAY! Keyboard and Mouse don't work.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What an awful product. I'm so upset with myself for not returning the laptop 2 weeks after purchasing. Every upgrade or restart the keyboard and mouse stop working, i have to uninstall and reinstall both to get them to work. it takes about 3 restarts. Start up takes a good 15 minutes before the computer start working properly. The times of ThinkPad being a good product is over, now they are behind time and make awful products. There is many other things wrong with it but i'm not wasting my time. Take my suggestion and go with something else.

Good laptop but bad customer service from best buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought an open box laptop from best with an assurance that i will get full 1 year warranty. But it turns out that lenovo will not honor the warranty since best buy forgot to put in the date of purchase. And now they are going to take more than 20 days to approve and send me a 50$ gift card for this inconvenience, which means waiting for a total of 30 days to get a new part. Horrible customer service.

Blue Screen Hours After First Boot
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Received this laptop about a week ago, and went to run Windows updates. After running updates for almost 3 days, the last update causes total system failure that ends up in a blue screen loop. Brand new laptops shouldn't have this type of issue whether or not it is a Lenovo hardware issue or Windows update compatibility issue, I am uncertain but this should not happen with a brand new device.

Posted .Did you create restore discs or a restore point before you started the Windows update? You can restore the system back to factory default or back to the configuration before the update, if you created a restore disc or restore point. Windows 10 does have restore capabilities. Click on the magnifying glass at the bottom of the desktop screen on the left. Type "system restore" in the search window. Click on "create a restore point" then click on "system restore" on the window that opens. Once the device is restored to factory default, create restore discs immediately and a restore point on your system.

HD died on this computer after two weeks of use!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased three of these labtops for school and and work. Unfortunately, one of the labtopbs had keyboard issues and had to be replaced right out of the box. The other two had HD issues and had to go out for repair after three weeks of use. Best buy would not honor a return/replacement on these junks they have sold me. Naturally, wont be going back to this store or brand anytime soon.

Very dissatisfied with the service.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this laptop earlier this month from south Tampa . At first there was no touch pen in the laptop. So I had to go to the best buy at south Tampa and change it. And the changed new laptop processor fan is making sound frequently. I love this thinkpad yoga. Performance is good. But I have to shop twice in a month after buying this product. Who will compensate my trouble?

Don't buy it!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Battery life is terrible, the touch pad is poorly placed and extra sensitive. It came LOADED with Lenovo software that I did not want nor need, preferring the standard Office Suite and Adobe products. It was a pain to remove it all. It developed problem with the screen going blank and coming back on. I regret buying this laptop and do NOT recommend it to anyone.

Posted .You can adjust your power management (battery life) and touchpad sensitivity in your System Settings. With regard to the screen going blank issues you mention with your device, there may be driver updates for your specific system. Follow the link below to look for new driver updates for your specific system. You can also run diagnostics from the Lenovo site as well. As always, be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes. You can do this by just typing "restore point" in the search window within Cortana and follow the link to create a restore point. Here is the link:

Don't bother
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this laptop in march, and was extremely happy with it. However, earlier this month, it crashed often, would spend hours booting up, and eventually stopped turning on at all. The hard drive was fried and unfixable, and my friends who had the computer had similar problems. NOT WORTH THE MONEY!

Posted .Since this system was working OK initially, it sounds as though there was a Windows 10 automatic update that conflicts with existing drivers on the system. Try restoring to an earlier restore point before the issues occurred. In worse case, restore to factory defaults.
