A happy product purchase .... 4 years later!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like the 14 inch size. Nice size screen yet not to heavy to carry on a trip. Had no technical problems. Only disappointments are very minor: never used it in the pad configuration and one hinge stuck each time it’s opened . I view the overall quality as just below an apple laptop but the price is hundreds less . Would buy it again for $900.

Hardware issues ruin the drawing experience.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this laptop because it had everything I wanted. It could play Dark Souls 3, and other games. It folded into a tablet so I could also draw. But I had a hardware issue. When I used it in tablet mode, the screen would turn off when you touched the screen. I sent it to Lenovo for repair and they didn't fix it. If they had tested it for one second after 'fixing' it they would have realized it wasn't fixed. The laptop was fast and reliable though. My main complaint is the lack of ethernet port.

Posted .This sounds like a drive update issue. There may be driver updates for your specific system. Follow the link below to look for new driver updates for your specific system. You can also run diagnostics from the Lenovo site as well. As always, be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes. You can do this by just typing "restore point" in the search window within Cortana and follow the link to create a restore point. Here is the link:

A whole lot of punch for a 14"
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've always been a fan of the Lenovo Thinkpad series: compact, durable, and oh man, the keyboard. And hey, if you're a trackpoint guy like me, you know that Lenovo/IBM does it right on this model. I also love how the keyboard retracts as it goes to tablet mode. Easy to upgrade the RAM (supports up to 16GB) and able to add a 42mm m.2 SSD as well. I added 500GB of SSD storage and bumped it to 16gb RAM and I'm able to run a VM, program in eclipse, run Oracle sqldeveloper (a decently heavy portable program), and deploy very easily. Overall, highly recommend.

A great choice!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did alot of research on 2-in-1 laptops, and I found this one to be one of the best. Laptops that are comparable to this one are between $1,200-$2,500. This is the most affordable 2-in-1 laptop I could find. The built in stylus is just awesome. The keyboard that raises when you convert it to a tablet is a great selling point. The processor, Solid State Drive, and red dot mouse increase the value of this computer. I would definitely recommend.

Great Laptop for a College Student
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this laptop right before I began my freshman year of college and I am now in my junior year. It still runs great, is dependable, and allows me to work on any online class with ease. I occasionally play Sims 4 through Origin on it as well and it works great with it. Its perfect for me and my needs as a student. I also love watching movies and Netflix on it as you can flip the screen around to better suit your needs. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quality touchscreen laptop.

Great laptop, super fast
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Im a college student who was in need of a fast an reliable laptop, and thank god I found this one, its been over a month since I buy it, and it is perfect. I use it mainly to read books and make presentations, but one way or another I end on netflix quite a lot, and sound wise its pretty good. The battery life for me its been around 8 hours, except when I play some games, then it is like 2 hr. Its not a gaming computer but you can play saints row and the like perfectly fine Just be careful to not touch it with dirty hands!

Absolutely no complaints
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm always feeling like there's a tradeoff in buying a new computer and am always looking for the "gotcha" after the purchase when I get a good deal. But this one wasn't the case. The system has plenty of power for my above average use, screen looks great, keyboard feels great (and love how the keys recess when you fold it over). Very happy with this purchase.

Great for students
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you get the best buy version of the thinkpad yoga 460 (they call it thinkpad yoga 14) it comes with an nvidia gforce 940m graphics card too, not just intel HD integrated, a little heavier but worth it for sure. I got this because it was pretty much the only laptop with an active digitizer within a reasonable price range. The pen is amazing with onenote for class. Feels sturdy, no problems with the yoga flipping or anything so far. Decent performance for the price can't complain. To be honest I'd have gotten one of their commercial line yogas instead if they'd come with pen support. Started out thinking it looked a little old school, but I'm used to it now and like it. I like the little eraser button mouse thing over the track pad, again with the old school tech feel but handy since you don't have to move your hands from the keyboard. I actually have the trackpad itself disabled since it was annoying me while I was using the eraser mouse thing. As for screen, 14" is totally big enough, I run 64bit linux in a virtual machine (can enable support in bios) for writing software for compsci classes and have enough room for everything, performance good in VM also. Not too big to use as tablet or whatever, I read textbooks on it and it's perfect, fits on those little college chair desk things in lecture halls for notes, etc. Doesn't get hot or loud ever. Screen looks good for my purposes. Speaker is pretty bad and like under the machine but who cares, like really I never use laptop speakers anyway always headphones. I mean basically it's comparable to a surface book at a way cheaper price. I like the flat black. Still getting used to the placement of the fn key vs the ctrl key (meaning to hit ctl but hit fn) but that's okay. Keys feel nice. Battery life I'm not too sure about yet so I won't really comment. I haven't had any issues with it running out of battery during the day yet but I've come down to having only like an hour left while I was still on campus. Not super long battery life, probably like average. Anyway, just yeah I was hesitant at first, though it looked old, but it's a great machine and I like it.

One of the best Thinkpads...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Thinkpad has it all, for a reasonable price. The keyboard is exceptional, especially if you're a typist. The screen is crisp and easy to read. It's great for everyday apps, but also apps that require some horsepower, such as video editing. The i5 combined with the nVidia graphics card and the solid state drive provide a smooth, fast experience. Fold and it becomes a tablet complete with built in stylus. The stylus requires no battery but works as well as others. Highly recommend.

Durable but Heavy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good computer for travelers but a bit heavy. I read the reviews prior to purchasing the computer, overall I agree. The battery life isn't as long as advertised. The reviews said the battery life was about 8 hours, I would say it is more like 6 hours. The keys are easy to use, great backlight. When traveling the yoga feature is great at take off and landing.

Great laptop with all the features I wanted
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.3 in 1 touchscreen convertible, check. Full HD with dedicated graphics, check. Backlit keyboard, SSD, memory card slot, and integrated stylus are all icing on the cake. To be a bit critical about it, I'm not a fan of the rectangular charging plug. I wish it were USB-C or at least something more standard. Also wish the GPU was a slightly higher model.

Would buy another
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my high school son to replace his 3 year old apple laptop. He is very happy he went with this verses the new Apple. Likes being able to flip it over for watching movies and the touch screen for writing papers because he can flip back and fourth while reading and typing.
