We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the included active pen for the Lenovo ThinkPad L13 Yoga. Be sure the pen is pushed all the way in so it will charge within the pen garage. Let the pen charge for about 15-minutes, then try the pen within a compatible APP like the Microsoft Paint APP. If the pen still does not work, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686. Lenovo

Hello thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaPad L13 Laptop model # 20R5A000US. This unit has an estimated battery life of Up to 12 Hours. If you are getting substantially less battery life, please adjust your screen brightness settings. A setting of 100% brightness will drain your battery much faster than a lower setting. We recommend setting the screen brightness to some value below 100% that is still comfortable for you to view. Next be sure Battery conservation Mode is turned off. This power management setting should only be used when the laptop is plugged in all the time. It will prolong overall battery life by only charging the battery to 60-percent of capacity. Here is a link to instructions for turning off Battery Conservation Mode: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/ht103159. Also check what programs are running in the background on the computer. Be sure only the programs you want running in the background are. These programs will drain the battery. Here is a link to information about how to find out what programs are running in the background on your Windows 10 computer and how to manage them for better system performance: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-prevent-apps-running-background-windows-10. Then, finally, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. Incompatible software will drain the battery at a faster rate. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686. Lenovo

Do not buy. The first month the mother board went bad. They replace the board under warranty, but the same ay I got it back they delete and escape keys were sticking. Best Buy replaced the laptop without question. After the warranty expired the Wi-Fi started dropping intermittently. I had my 10 year old ACER laptop connected to the same network at the same time and it stays connected. I followed all troubleshooting for this issue on the Lenovo site and cannot overcome this problem. Now his $1000 laptop is a frustration. I do not think I will get another Lenovo laptop, even though I have heard good things about them. If you do not need to connect to Wi-Fi the laptop works well.

We just bought this laptop on May 14th and it has had horrendous keyboard issues! First, the keyboard quit working altogether! We had to troubleshoot and finally it began working again. Now...only certain keys on the keyboard will operate! We can't type with some keys working and some not! This is a total waste of money! Do not bother! Save yourself a lot of headaches! Oh yeah... and nothing can be done about it because Best Buy doesn't answer their phones and you cannot schedule appointments with Geek Squad online! So, now we are past our return date and we are stuck with a hunk of junk!

For the price I paid for this product, I expected a lot more. When it arrived I plugged it in to charge it and get started. The keyboard started overheating instantly--apparently this isn't an isolated issue if you read other reviews. The speakers are at the bottom of the computer so the sound is bad. The screen was smaller than expected and the graphics weren't that good. The $300 Lenovo Ideapad I bought before this was a lot better. I had to return this product and exchange it for another brand.
