Great computer. Except wifi card is iffy at times and then hinge is breaking apart. My screen flickers from a loose wire in their hinge section.

Within 1 week the screen began to fail. It started displaying a vertical black line in the middle of the screen, by week two there were bright pink vertical lines covering the entire screen and then the screen colors all darkened. Took it back and it was shipped for repairs. It ended up being "junked out". The company did replace it with a brand new one. Good thing the screen failure happened when it did because it was still under warranty.

Been a great laptop for many years. Fast and reliable

This thing is a piece of junk, it locks up on me randomly and even when I go to shut down, it doesnt do that. It heats up instead of hibernating and it over heats. I'd stay away from this thing. Boot up takes forever!

You're only as fast as your slowest link. What's the point of having 8gb of RAM and a Core i7 processor if you're slowed down by your Hard Drive? This comes with a 1TB hybrid NAND hdd with 8gb of flash and 992gb of regular old 5400 rpm HDD (slow as hec). The price on the laptop is SO GOOD that it's worth it to buy and get a pure solid state drive. The prices on these are great at 256gb, 512, or 1tb. I put in a 1tb sdd and BAM, a 90% speed increase. The 5400 RPM drive this comes with really slows things down. Once things are open they run ok, but this really needs a native SDD for a gaming pc. Again, the price is soo good, it's worth it to buy and replace!

this laptop design is amazing with powerful performance

I bought this laptop to replace an aging Toshiba. It was in store and had great specs for price. The pros: 1) Great specs for under $1500, the ram is a little low, but it is upgradable (I suspect you must use store, or void the warranty). 2) Touch screen is responsive, plays the games I like on highest setting with ~60 FPS. (Wow, SC2, Diablo) 3) Came with a DVD player (external), most others either are way expensive OR require separate purchase. 4) Screen is actually pretty good quality, very nice definition. The cons 1) Only 2 GB of video ram. 2) Speakers are well.... lets just say use a headset or get a decent pair of external if you have ANY hearing issues, the output is not good and quality is average. 3) Screen hing feels like I could snap it in half. An employee stated he had an older model with same hinge and said it was good. Conclusion If your looking for a decent mid/low end gaming laptop with a touch screen for roughly $1100 (at the time i wrote this), then this is the computer, I would recommend because of the price/performance is very good.

The PC I purchased was an "open box" one and it didn't even have a box! I think it was a display. The trackpad didn't work well, the computer ran super slow, and it was really heavy. I returned it the next day.

Great laptop. Used through college computer science graduate. The hinge on screen broke from opening closing, other people experience same issue.

I returned the product to the store having problema with the screen

Needed a new computer cuz old one was balky. This computer is terrible. The trackpad must be clicked 3-4 times before I get a response. The interface is slow. Not Happy

My son wanted an affordable gaming computer. We got this for him and he has been using it through a military deployment and now using for college.

frame broke within 6 month warranty wouldnt cover. no help from lenovo. hooked to a monitor and wireless keyboard now.

that is not a good item. i sent this computer as gift to my friends but the screen always was flash Screen. I have to return it back.
