Customers are saying
Customers admire the Yoga 2's long battery life, ease of use, light weight, and compact size, frequently praising its convenient design and helpful kickstand. However, the keyboard's magnetic attachment and the lack of a full-sized USB port are common points of concern. Some users also found the limited storage capacity and the somewhat awkward stand to be drawbacks.

Nothing but problems since we bought this item
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Will never buy a tablet like this again. Had lots of trouble with it and still do. Am contemplating exchanging it for a Samsung Tablet with an Android OS, which is what I had before this product and never hat any trouble with.... Not only is my new tablet extremely slow especially when browsing, it also has difficulty connecting to the keyboard that came with it....sometimes it decides to work, other times it does not. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Excellent and truly versatile tablet.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am an IT Systems Admin and bought this tablet to replace my old Transformer Prime (Android) tablet that was slow and buggy. I have been looking for a "perfect" tablet for over a year, but found that every device was missing something that I considered a "required" feature. This is the best all around tablet available and the first that met all my key requirements. Pros: Battery life - lasts me two days of fairly heavy use on a charge. Full HD display (actually slightly over full HD) - beautiful and bright, particularly good for reading. Very few cheap Windows tablets have this. Full Windows 8.1 - Allows me to be productive and use any and all software I need for work or pleasure. Real multitasking - It sounds silly to say in 2014, as we've all been doing multitasking on our computers for years! But, on a tablet, Windows 8's biggest selling point for me is that you can actually have two apps (any two apps) running onscreen at the same time, easily. Neither IOS nor Android allow you to do this natively (I know that some Android tablets have tacked on this functionality, but it's only for specific apps and it's no where near as easy to use). Similarly, the first time you are watching a Youtube video and decide you want to play it in the background while you do something else you'll realize how much you've been missing on Android or IOS. Office 365 included - Admittedly only a 1 year subscription, but you can work on any document you want as you would at work, making this very useful as a productivity device. Included Bluetooth keyboard - This is a very thin and light keyboard with built in track pad. The keys are well spaced and responsive and the track pad works well. It has it's own battery, so you will need to charge it occasionally, but the battery lasts a LONG time. This is a big plus over some other 2 in 1 tablets as it's bluetooth, so you don't need to physically connect it to the tablet for it to work (a big plus if you have a case on your tablet that would otherwise prevent connecting the keyboard). Fast and responsive - In day to day use, this tablet is blazing fast! I have never experienced slowdown while running the tablet, even when playing videos in the background and surfing the net or switching between apps. Runs pretty much any windows app - Again, this makes it a true option as a laptop replacement, provided you don't need to run any massive resource intensive applications. MicroSD slot - Most non-IOS tablets have this, but many have the slot on the edges where the card can accidentally be popped out. This tablet was well designed in that the slot is hidden behind the kickstand and a plastic cover, so once you put the card in you never have to worry about losing it. Built in kickstand - This is a very handy feature and I use it all the time. The fact that you can extend it beyond 90 degrees is also very useful in situations where you want to perch it on a slopping surface. No Bloatware - Lenovo did a good job of shipping a clean device. Cons: Low storage - This is the biggest gripe for me. For the price I understand only getting 32gb, but I don't understand why there are no more expensive versions with larger storage. If it had 64gb and 128gb options available, I would give it 5 stars. Adding a microSD card greatly improves the situation, particularly if you install all your regular windows software on the card, but as there is no way to move "Apps" from the windows store to your micro SD card, this is a big limitation. Cannot remove recovery partition - This is another big pain to me, given the limited size. Basically, this tablet uses a new feature to reduce the size of the windows installation on the C: drive - it uses windows files stored in the recovery partition instead of storing them on C:. This is great for average users as it means the files are only stored in one place, so you get more room on the C: drive than if you had the full installation AND the recovery partition. However, for advanced users this means that you cannot remove the recovery partition, which would ultimately save more space than this method. Gaming performance - This is by no means a gaming focused tablet, but I like to play the occasional game, so I think it's good to mention. When playing the most intense Windows Store game, such as modern combat 5 or GT racing 2 (both of which are also available for IOS and Android, so should run ok here) the tablet will often stutter or frame skip in the more intensive scenes. Upgrading the stock graphics driver helps, but it's still not smooth. Other games run fine (like minion rush or Adrenaline 8), so I'm not sure if this is a problem with the games not taking full advantage of the hardware, but it's annoying. I think it is most likely due to the very high native resolution of the tablet. If the games allowed running at a lower resolution, or reducing some of the advanced rendering this might solve the problem (for example in Halo: Spartan Assault I was able to remove Anti-Aliasing, which significantly improved performance). No active stylus support - At the price I'm not surprised, but it would have been a nice option. Windows key slow to respond - The small silver windows logo acts as the start button, which is nice, but it's sometimes slow to respond. I actually don't mind that as a long press will usually work and this means it doesn't accidentally bring me to home when I don't intend to, but some might find it annoying. Limited apps available in the Windows Store - This is a common gripe amongst a lot of people and it's true, there's not a lot of selection in the store and many apps you might be used to from Android or IOS are missing. That said, this is improving daily and you can usually find good desktop windows applications that will do what you want in a pinch. Back plastic can be "creaky" - Occasionally I notice some flex in the back plastic of the tablet. It's not significant and I often wonder if I'm imagining it, but it's there. Needs Antivirus - Some will say this is a con, but actually I've never been fully confident having a tablet without some form of antivirus/anti-malware. Just because you're running Android or IOS doesn't mean that someone isn't trying to get a virus on your device to steal your info. At least with Windows you know to expect it and can find out how to protect yourself. I'm running Panda's free AV and it hasn't slowed the tablet at all. Conclusion - After my old Android tablet, I'm extremely happy with this tablet. It's very responsive, has a great screen, and supports all the software I need. There's certainly room for improvement and I really can't understand why Lenovo don't offer larger capacity versions, but for my money its the best all around tablet available on the market today. It has taken the place of my old tablet and laptop and I don't miss them for anything.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.best win 8.1 atom tablet in store now. smooth screen touch input. awesome battery life. 2 gigs of ram. great deal for 300 considering a good Bluetooth keyboard cost about 100. Win 8.1 is not as bad for touch as others made out.

Many features for the money. But has some problems
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Screen resolution great for videos. But too small for productivity. Onscreen keyboard very large, covers half the screen. Detached keyboard sometimes has BT connectivity problems.

Good little keyboard for my tablet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was good but,,,,the charging cord or instructions were not in the box when we got home. We are an hour drive away. So no, we didn't go back up for a $5.00 cord.

great tablet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have an ipad air. The build quality of yoga tablet is even better than ipad. But it has some drawback. first, metro of win8 is not as good as ios or android . So yoga tablet maybe better suit for a small laptop than a tablet. Second, the Bluetooth keyboard is good, but no light indications. I don't even know whether the "Caps lock" is on or not.

Great tablet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pretty nice tablet. Wasn't used to the new OS but it didn't take terribly long to get used to it. You can use the bluetooth keyboard as well if you've got some typing to do. Pretty satisfied with it.
